It's the sin man! Even if you take the religious sense of sin away but simply look at it as a bad thing to envy your neighbor. I think this generates hate, manifest itself in sick and eveil twisted ways depending on your sin of choice. We all have em too, just gotta fight em each day and win that fight
This is a wellknown story:
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all"
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

But why do we so easily succumb to feed the evil wolf? Why do we hate and feed it and react hatefull towards others?

This is a very nice story. All that has been said here are true. I think we feed them both, the good wolf and the evil one. We all have those characteristic inside ourselves, it's just depend on us when we will gonna show it. I think the evil wolf is not our real enemy. Our real enemy here is no other than our own self because we are the owner and we are the one who will decide who will gonna win.
My easy answer is greed because greed leads one to the evil path.
There are certain things why people hate? People usually hate those who annoys them. Something that can triggers his or her mind tends to reciprocate the level of his or her emotions towards a certain circumstance. People hate because they were also hated by others in some ways.
Because most of us are not they same attitude, They have silent person and angry person and others attitude of the person. When it comes to they are not same way they are hating each other. Just like when you are a baby all you want to do is to play but your mother is she want is to sleep you but you not want to sleep so thats why you hate your mother and also your mother hate you because you not to sleep.
Basically you are correct. We hate someone whom we do not like because we have different attitude. That what always the cause of our hatred to that person of that person is being rude, boastful, nasty, or argumentative. Worst thing why would we hate was because we are jealous to one person. We are envious about one person or we are selfish enough that we do not want other person to become successful.
Because most of us are not they same attitude, They have silent person and angry person and others attitude of the person. When it comes to they are not same way they are hating each other. ,the tendency of feeding our bad side, is that we are tolerating what is bad instead thinking as many as possible and decide what is the right thing to do. Sometimes we talk before we decide, and sometimes our anger outplayed our goodness inside because you are already full or sometimes they already hurt our side and our pride. It is just better to keep distance than having an arguement to people that leads to a bigger fight.
People hate because they are hurt. Hurt is the most reason why people hate. So how we can lessen hatred? We must never expect. Expectation leads to disappointment, so when you're disappointed you started to hate. You started to get mad, feel bad. Just go with the flow.
This is human nature. it's one step from love to hatred.
We can't blame people for hating, it's a natural human reaction. I'm aware some peeps just love hating things for no reason, that's insane.
Exactly, people are hating because it's already in our veins. Not all people has the feeling of being kind all the same.
How good people will like you, they will be your worst nightmare when they hated you.
It's just a normal thing.
Because of their insecurities, envy and being not contented of what they have. People hate because they see the things they don not have in other people and that is insecurity and later on they will feel envy because of it. Why do not we just be contented of what we are, what we have and who we are.
People tend to hate because they have been wronged. The more the wrong, the more the hate. It is right that people hate when wronged. Poor people, generally speaking, have been wronged the most and their intense hate is rightful.

I have a little brother, but why my mom always give anything that my little brother want ?
When I played some kid's play, and my little bro steal it from me. And I'm fight again to grab it back. But at the end my mother always give me to my little brother.
On that time, I was hate my little brother very much ( because I still can't control my ego and I still not understand "the situation")
Aside from ego, people hate because of greediness, envy, and not being contented or satisfied. ..The young adults who need to buy a home have no chance in this day and age plus they are in debt over a university bill..
But all ok if mummy and daddy can pay for it for you so your not in debt..
20 times the wages the young adults need to find deposits for a home when years ago maybe 2 times my be less even for the same home..

Average wage in 1971 was 6,497.08..
Average wage in 2017 is 27k ..
Now the average wage so our young adults can buy a home just like everyone else could in 1971 should be ..
6,497.08 x 43 = 279374.44..
Now most young adults should be getting paid 270k at least to be on the average wage like everyone in 1971..
That's not even the rich it's your average joe ..But how many jobs out there that pay 270k for an average wage ..
So you could say the young adults are 10 times worse of than your average person was in 1971..
And with the fact the immigration driving down the price of work PLUS the fact the rich immigrants drive up the price of homes because always some rich person willing to pay that little bit more the young adults in the UK are doomed unless mummy or daddy pay for you..

We are all a greedy human being, you can't say that there is no person that is greedy. The reason many people hate each other is because people with the same traits, hate each other, for example, one person is a thief, and met another thief, they will be hating each other because they knew that someone will be getting the first thief's target.
People hate because it is built in to us. Just like the animals we evolved from.
Lets not forget we share almost 99% of the same DNA as Chimps/Monkeys and stuff like that.
Hate is a mechanism that is useful. If we liked everyone then we would be taken advantage of. If we know what hate is, know what fear is, and know how to be suspicious, we will be able to uncover liars(of which there are many natural born liars).

In this world where social media has a very impact in the society it is easy to hate someone because people love to post what is going with their lives and those others who can't afford that kind of life they have will start hating you. In short people feel envious and insecure that leads them to hating someone.
The deepest most fundamental reason for feelings of hate is the overwhelming awareness that time has been stolen, because life is made up of a very long string of moments-in-time, the most precious of all available 'things' on earth.
