Dice sites are one of oldest bitcoin games, and it is both provably fair and offers a wide range of betting odds , few clicks and you have
made your bet, so why is it surprising that people like to use them ?

In all honesty, i wonder why much more people are not playing on dice sites, not the other way around.

cheers

I play on dice sites for fun and make some profit on short-term.
If you make 5% of your total money, stop to bet,and withdraw
The addiction is bound to bring you back. You will want to make that 5% the next day as well. If thats all you play dice for then you should rather invest in the bank and get 8-10% as interest on your money.

Dice is a game to be played with short amount of money and probably while you are seriously bored, elsewhere it's not funny.

Because they are addicted to gambling.

They think they can beat the whole system and get rich and the truth is if they bring enough money (as much as dice site have) and if the games wouldnt have max bet limit,, they could have cleared the casino.

But like most of you know, dice sites have max bet value (mostly 10-20btc) and what ever you do you ll lose in the long run because of  the "house edge".

So, no point in playing really.
if you addicted to gambling and want to get rich with gambling. you must forget it about this way because if you addicted tp gambling you will feel happy when you play gambling

yes but this is true with any game. Not just dice. If you are an addict you are addicted to anything such as Dice, slots, blackjack, etc. There are no addicts out there that are only addicted to a single game. They just love to gamble either way.

Welcome to the world of gambling, sometimes you win, most times you lose. I'm not sure what you expected mate, every method of gambling the bookie/casino wins more than they lose.

If you play & expect to win then gambling isn't for you.

That is true for purely luck games such as dice, roulette, blackjack, etc, but it may not be case for skill games such as poker, sports bet, bustabit. It is wrong to assume all kinds of gambling always gives you negative EV.

As for the question in the thread title - I still play dice yes, https://dadice.com is one of my favourite places to gamble. Sure I'm not in profit over there but I enjoy it. It's like playing the lottery, you can win big but you'll most likely lose. The opportunity is there to win a lot though.

most people like the fact that dice gives a result instantly a profit or a loss you get a return on the spot so you can gamble much quicker Cheesy

Like me. I want a fast result. If loss then loss , if win then much better. So I can rest early. Smiley
so you can rest early? i dont think so, the fact that you get an instant outcome lets you bet more and more until you loose everything, because of that i choose casinos instead of dice

In my case , no. I learned lesson from my past in playing dice. I used to bet now for small amount and just leave away even with small earnings. Playing too long is bad.

It is simply because people have a different preference.
Some prefer simplicity and like dice.
Some prefer flashy colour and like slot.
Some prefer skill games and like poker.
etc

Yeah, preference is the answer, like me, I am good at math, so I reasearched on the house edges of casino games, so I think blackjack is best game in casino, and I like it very much.

Player 2 player game is fair and without house edge, is also my apetite.  Wink  Slots have high house edges but with good luck people can still profit from slots, and it contribute 100% towards bonus rollover, that's why some people like slots

unless someone can manage the way to outsmart the system and earn some money by cheating on it, like some gamblers did in the past, there are no other ways to beat the casino

I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

Dice games have existed for maybe 5000 years. Entertainment can be more complicated today, but dice is a quick game with simple rules and immediate results. And yes many people still find that fun. Especially when combined with the thrill of gambling. Sometimes the more complicated the game the less fun from gambling on it I get.

it might be because of gambling addictions (part of it at least) which makes people go back and gamble more. also there are always new people who start gambling on dice sites and have the same mentality that we had before and think they can win, eventually they realise and leave.

And it's even the most mindless game ever so you don't even have to worry to be skilled on it.
