I think a lot of people are holding Ethereum, but not Bitcoin. Most of these people are hoping that Ethereum will grow like Bitcoin and will reach 10000$. I see no reason to think that this will happen.
People always said that ETH will be the next Bitcoin. What's your thinking about that? Is it possible that someday it will cost as much now as Btc?
As for me I don't see the possibility of that happening for now. Because of the quick growth of ethereum, that is why people are think ETH will displace BTC soonest.

ETH is way different. People who say that are uninformed. ETH and BTC are both really great. In the long run, I think something else will take over though. Not sure yet which one or if it's even come out yet. Too many improvements are needed as is.
Recently I am hearing some rumors or words that, Eth will beat bitcoin sooner or later.But I don't think so and I totally disagree with it. Bitcoin is Bitcoin, And Eth is like after Bitcoin, If bitcoin fall then eth will fall too. Then how can people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? What do you think About this? Share your thoughts.
It has everything diffrent, contracts, projects, technics so etherum is just for me better and in near future people will believe in its power and that is how it will get stronger and price will be bigger.
I do not think that ET will outrun the BTC. Tokens with a capitalization like that of the etherium will not be able to make several X's to outrun BTC
Both etherum and Bitcoin has it own way. As for me I don't think etherum can overthrow bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most recognized and most valuable coin in the whole world.
Many people believe that Ether can really take the place of bitcoin. Since they believe in it, that's why they are looking for any confirmation of their meaning. This is analogous to the principles of religion. When you believe in something, you everywhere find evidence and confirmation of your faith. This is not bad and not good. It is so there. Everybody is not forbidden to think the way they want.
Ethereum handles more transactions than all the cryptocurrencies combined and that includes Bitcoin too in it. There are hundreds of dApps and tokens being built on the Ethereum platform. It has a strong dev team. And currently it can handle more transactions per second than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has a limited number of coins that are mined very slowly. ethereum has unlimited emissions and is produced faster than bitcoin. Therefore, if the price of ethereum does not fall, then after 1-2 years the capitalization of ethereum will be more than that of bitcoin. This is simple.
it still hard for ethereum to compete with bitcoin because people only know bitcoin in their first time in the cryptocurrency and they only buy bitcoin. but after they know more about cryptocurrency, they will know ethereum but they don't think that ethereum will have a chance to beat the bitcoin although the possibilities are wide open. ethereum needs more time to compete with bitcoin and even if they have a solid team, only a matter of time will answer.

Actually Ethereum depends on Bitcoin. There will be no Ethereum if bitcoin is not around. But it is possible that Eth can surpass bitcoin in terms of income. It all depends on the number of users and investors who will be backing up Ethereum.

Personally, we have the same thought. I don't see that happening. But yea, everyone has his/her opinion. Here's mine. Bitcoin is not just a simple coin. It is the father of all altcoins. Values of altcoins depend on bitcoin. If it rise, others will follo and vice versa. Bitcoin is bitcoin. No other coin can surpass its value. I think others think that eth has more potential since its value is more stable than bitcoin
I think that sounds no longer strange to me so maybe ethereum can overtake bitcoin but do not know when it happens while bitcoin price down etereum also come down that you have said so etehreum could just pass bitcoin but do not know when happened

In the next 10 years, it is unlikely that Bitcoin will be replaced, but it could be Ethrereum or any other crypto that can grow stronger and replace Bitcoin as it can not become digital money for future transactions. Bitcoin will be replaced as a sure thing to happen.
ETH will not able to beat bitcoin nor any other crypto currency. People just spreading rumours without any knowledge about crypto currency or Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the base of all crypto currency. I do believe that there is other currency that has more secured,developed platform but that doesnt mean that this coin or that coin will overcome bitcoin.

On the benefit side, I think ETH and Bitcoin are the same, but now the market is more interested in ETH than Bitcoin. I think the BTC values are too large to hold them more dangerous, and harder to trade. ETH low value more convenient.
As a base for ERC20 standard tokens Ethereum really quite perspective cryptocurrency capable not just to leave as equals with bitcoin, but also in a long-term perspective to drive him out of the market.
Some people says that Ethereum can Overcome Bitcoin because ETH is one of the most popular coins today, great potential, good future, good projects. But o don't think that ETH can overcome BTC, because BTC is the mother of all coins,always on top and if BTC fall it affect all coins like Eth.
