Bitcoin needs a support from the community for sure but majority of people are buying it as they feel that this can be the best investment for future giving outstanding ROI.

Well i think you are correct some people are only buying bitcoins now because they are hoarding as much bitcoin as they can now because there are humors that the price of bitcoin will be much higher than the current rate when the halving occurs.

The main reason that people is buying some Bitcoin is that they want to make profit with it and that is logic because you can earn a lot with Bitcoin and that is nice.
The only think that you have to do with Bitcoin is that you have to know that it can take a long time until the value will be higher.

Realistic speculation really helps that's why bitcoin is still increasing it's adoption even at 1%. Not a market related term but actually has an impact to move the price up.
