Men sport is mostly watched. Gambling sites deals most with men sport. Some gamblers can not gamble in what they do not watch or know much about.
Exactly, some site also have no option for women’s sports or team, that’s why gambler are being forced to deal on what is available on that site. Though honestly, mens and women's team are just playing the same sports I just don’t know why they are still under the spotlight, the only sports for women that is more popular is Volleyball and the rest is just like a normal sports to many. Hopefully, they can get the good spot light as well as they are working hard for the love of sports too.

Maybe majority are not forced to deal with men sports since majority of sports presented on mainstream media are dominated by men's sports that's why commonly this is is the option taken by majority since this is where they are familiar on plus we love the level of physicality that's why there's huge revenue unto this. There's nothing wrong with women sports just to be clear here its just the interest of majority is less that's why we can see that there's low engagement regarding on this that's why its not surprising to see that they didn't get much attention and betting to people who gamble on sports.

Maybe if there's a big break happen there and there are investors that take a risk to spend a lot of money to market the women sports maybe in future we can see them competing with men sports in terms of fame and revenue.

Yes, I actually asked the same question when it was the Women's Cricket World Cup.... because it was very good quality Sport. I watched most of the matches and I could hardly find any Sports book that offered bets on the Women's Cricket World Cup.  Roll Eyes

I think the decision makers make their decisions, based on the viewership, so the more people watching.... the higher the probability that people would bet on it.  Roll Eyes

I do not know if this has been discussed before, but I want to know why most discussions on sports asides tennis is about the men's side of it and the women side is about only barely mentioned. Take football for example. Why is there low engagement in women sports from the side of viewers and even gamblers who are sports bettors? Is it not easier to win on gambling on women sports than men's sport? or is there no gambling site offering odds for betting on women sports?

Because they don't seem to be able to put the same amount of body into football as men do, and since everyone wants to gamble on things they understand, and since their play was so annoying to me even on the gambling site, I would rather sleep than watch their football. If there are only women's matches available, I will put off my gambling until another day because I prefer what I watch and have skilled at predicting. Although there are still many who bet on women's sports, I think such individuals prefer it to men's football because it is what they enjoy. Even though they can accomplish it, women shouldn't be held to the same standards as men in sports, in my opinion. Even if women sports is giving to gamble for free, I think some people would still avoid it.

It is true that currently women's involvement in the world of sports is very large, but because of the relatively large physical differences, men's sports are more exciting and of higher quality compared to women's. So men's sports are very interesting to watch because after all sports really rely on physicality as a determinant. Apart from that, if seen from the fans' point of view, of course men's sports are more popular and followed by many people compared to women's sports and this is the reason why most people bet on men's sports.

I do agree that women are getting into sports but still, their ratio is less as compared to men's sports.

Sometimes I feel that if you watch women's sports, you will find that it is fairly easy to bet on women's sports and make some easy money. The reason I say this is because in some sports the difference of performance between the teams is very high. For example, if you take Women's cricket, the England and Australian women's cricket teams are very strong as compared to the Asian countries' women's team.

So if you find a match between England / Australian women's cricket vs. any Asian cricket women's team, you can easily bet on the England or Australian women's cricket team and win some easy money.

I don't like women's football for the following reason: when women play, it looks like games played by children who would be playing at home or in their neighborhoods, they are games without much quality, in many cases when the person is watching and I see a player running in the field with the ball, then the player shoots for the goal, I thought that the goalkeeper would easily catch the ball to avoid the game, what happens is that the goalkeeper makes a mistake and the ball goes into the goal, this type of thing has happened with Very frequently in women's football, errors involving a player not being able to head correctly, errors involving a player not being able to shoot the ball correctly have happened very frequently

I didn't watch the women's world cup games that were held this year because I don't like women's football, but I saw the highlights of each game and I was shocked at each game, it was unbelievable the things I saw, each highlight I When I saw it I got irritated, I even started telling myself that I should stop watching those highlights. Those were world cup games in which the best teams were, but even so the level of quality did not compare with the second division leagues, I would even venture to say that it did not compare with the 3rd division leagues.

but there were people who argued that those games had quality, I was shocked every time I read those words. Honestly, I wouldn't bet money on women's football games, there are many things they still need to improve, even games in their country's leagues, I wouldn't bet either. A few days ago I saw a thread on this forum about the women's premier league, I don't know if my memory betrays me due to the name, but it seems to me that this is what was posted.

Well, let's talk about history first and the historical discoveries of football found in various regions, countries and eras. until, the era of Modern football. football, found in several eras in its history. football in ancient times, ancient Egyptians, ancient Maya, ancient Chinese, Romans, medieval football, the game of football, from China to England, and its development in the evolution of football itself. in the literature that I read, it seems that football has been dominated by men over time. and that is why historically, football is dominated by men. btw, correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe, I missed something in my reading.

So it would be very natural if football is always associated with men even though there are now many women's football clubs. including clubs that we know, such as the Premier League or others. on the other hand, they also have teams played by women. In terms of football, this sport is very energy-intensive. and most women don't like this sport. I mean, they play the game play football. In terms of betting, since ancient times, we have been accustomed to watching football matches played by men on TV. well, from the series that I have said above. So, it is natural that the sport of football is more popular among men. although in fact, in its current development, women's football is no less interesting than the matches played by men. Moreover, now there is no gap regarding gender issues. for gambling, this makes me quite confused. because, I don't have much information about it. Even if I am going to be involved in betting, that means I have to start learning from zero first to get to know each club or certain leagues better. because it takes a lot of time, so I don't intend to study it. So, I don't take part in women's football betting.

What kinds of games do women play to gamble, exactly? because all of the casino games here at the crypto gambling do not specifically state whether they are solely male or female, which is what I know and concur with from my experience.

Instead, anyone can participate in any cryptocurrency gambling game as long as they have funds placed into a casino to play or wager. However, if we take it literally, it appears that there are more men's games.

It's caused by women sports got less demand. People prefer to gamble on the thing that they are feelimg familiar with. It doesn't even make sense if you are willing to gamble on thing that you didn't even know about.
You can imagine by yourself you do know nothing about women sports and how can you sure if it will be far easy to gamble in it compared with men's sport?

By knowing the team that you are thinking familiar with it is also increasing the probability for you to win the game. I have been watching women's football a few times and i have no clue about the players of women football clubs.

You are obviously using your feeling to gamble on women's sport cuz you have zero clue about the players. You know the team, you know the players, you know how strong or weak the opponents. The win is yours.
I rarely see women's sport got lots of demand except tennis.

I believe that the problem is not exactly the fact that we (bettors) don't want to bet on them, but rather the fact that there are much fewer championships involving female athletes.
Even though discrimination in sports has decreased a lot, it is still much more common to have major competitions for men than for women.
Furthermore, it is more difficult to find good bookmakers that have opportunities for as many types of women's sports as those available for men.

That said, I defend myself by saying that in football (my favorite sport) I have been betting on both the FIFA Women's World Cup and also the Brazilian Women's Championship.

Question 1: Why is there low engagement in women sports from the side of viewers and even gamblers who are sports bettors?

Not interesting, few people talk about it and report it.

Question 2: Is it not easier to win on gambling on women sports than men's sport?

I answer "Yes" to this second question, for me, it's more difficult because I really don't know anything there, I ask you again, is it easier to win bets in League Two than in PL? Your answer is of course that it will be easier to win bets on PL, why? because you know more things there, right Grin.

Question 3: is there no gambling site offering odds for betting on women sports?

All gambling sites (including older generation gambling sites that only support FIAT) have betting markets for this women's sport. BTW, the last time I bet on women's sports was during the women's world cup a while ago.

Even though we have known a lot of women success stories in sports, we still cannot deny the fact that sports is still dominated by men. Thus, the population of men who  enjoys watching sports is comparatively higher than women. I think that preference is also a huge factor, of course, as men we enjoy more watching men play sports. Though I also watch women sports, especially in volleyball, I still prefer men sports as I find it more enjoying and thrilling. Also, I have known women who are sports bettor and who prefer to make bets in men sports than women sports. I think gender can be a factor in this, but it does not play that much role since there are women who prefers men sports. I think this is just all about preferences.

It feels like OP is new to sports betting. This is common sense IMO. I think the better question is why are women's sports not as popular as men's? Because why would people bet on a sport that they are not following? I bet regularly on e-sports, basketball, boxing, and MMA. But I haven't made a single bet throughout my life on women's basketball because I am not familiar with its players. And I am not familiar with women's basketball because I am not interested.

There are sports where I am more excited watching women though, like tennis and volleyball. Women's boxing and MMA are as exciting as men's depending on their individual fighting styles. So it really depends on someone's interest. Generally, men's sports are more popular than women's sports. But I believe women's sports are growing since more countries and people are more aware of gender equality.

If we talk about how the audiences of fans of women’s sports, men’s sports and betting intersect, then we must mention that the majority of bettors are men. This is an additional factor to betting mainly on men's sports. By the way, I would be interested to know the statistics regarding female bettors - what competitions they prefer, both by type of sport and by gender.

People gamble on the sports they love to watch or the sports that they have a knowledge with.  Aside from that many people are following what is hot or trending, and mostly, men's sports are gathering all the attention  so people tend to be influenced by the trend.

Aside from that, just like the earlier reply, most of us here are man so we have more interest in men's sports, the reason why most of us are discussing men's matches, even in boxing and UFC threads, we seldom discuss female fights unless someone mentioned about female fights.

Generally, the male folk dominates the sports arena. Virtually all the sports you see the women participate in, it has the original version in male sporting events. Therefore that is the reason you have more interest in male sports than in female. In fact older men that are the prude type never like to watch the female sporting events because they feel they don't want to mistakenly see a female exposed body, and they can bear that of the male as a counterpart or same sex like them.

Female sports have there base in male sports and of course the male have already dominated and generates more money than the female sports, meaning anybody that has any marketing to do on both sports sells more in male sports offline and online.
There is no doubt that there is an over concentration on male sporting development,  yes indeed there is always the original male version of every women's game we are seeing lately and even the various leagues and tournaments that we see all around the sporting arena all have the male version and sometimes the male version is much better organized and advanced compared to the female versions of those games.
Even the women's championships are the same if you follow up with the technology and visual representation, you will notice the differences between both male and female games.

Why is there low engagement in women sports from the side of viewers and even gamblers who are sports bettors?

Women are not much involved in sporting activities like men, women sport are not that entriguing like men sports, men also watch women sport but you cannot expect them both to be the same, i think tennis is one of the most played sport game by women, while men virtually played everything.

Is it not easier to win on gambling on women sports than men's sport? or is there no gambling site offering odds for betting on women sports?

They all have the same risk of winning or loosing, if you know about women's games very well, why not bet on them, if you don't know about a game very well and you bet, you will definitely loose, this is our own decision to make on what we preferred most and see with lesser risk and more advantage for winning.

There is a general believe that gambling is seen as an activity mostly done by men and men bet their money in what they watch judging by the performance of each team. I'm sure if you looked into women sports especially soccer, the quality of play is not impressive. Women in sports are unpredictable, they might perform well this time and some other time, it becomes the other way round. I am not saying this kind of scenario cannot be seen in men's sport but am saying its mostly found in women's sport.

One more thing, women's sport is not that popular that is why most gamblers do not bet as well. But things are changing gradually women's sport is now having much fan than before. Sports like tennis, golf, WNBA and soccer are one of the most popular sport where women are in the spotlight compared to other sports. If you are a gambler and your not interested in one of these sports then you wont really bet on them.

Bet on women sports is better when you're a risk taker because there's a higher chance an underdog able to win.

But I'm not want to bet on a match where I don't watch and familiar with the team, so I choose to bet on male sports. I want to enjoy the match too, not necessary to win and earn money through gambling.

much probably because there are not many events with female players and excluding tennis (or volleyball) I don't have enough experience with that sport.

Please note in horse racing there are female that run in the same runs also with male jockey, it's interesting since some are really strong...
