That may certainly be one reason.
But someone who regularly bets on sports doesn't really care about the sport. What counts much more is how well you know the sport and how well you can assess situations and teams (injuries, lineups, previous games, ...). It really doesn't matter who plays the sport and whether they are men or women.

For someone who occasionally bets on his favorite team, you're absolutely right. There you bet of course only very limited in the domain of your favorite club, but usually also with a lot of hope that is placed in "your" team ... this leads in turn to the fact that you often miss out on profits just because you hope that your favorite team A beats the much stronger team B ... which often simply won't happen.

Yes, I don't bet on women's matches either but maybe we will watch women's matches, especially if there are a lot of beautiful women competing hahaha.

Beach volleyball will be an interesting spectacle because many beautiful women compete, especially if it is held on a beach. I just want to look at the beauty of a woman instead of betting on women's matches because they are more than that if you know what I mean Grin

It's better for me to place bets on other matches that I really know and can choose the right team.

I've never placed any bet on women's sports before because I don't see anything attracting me to such sports, also men sports are far more crowdy than women's sports, I want to blow your mind, I have a couple of female friends in school years back before we lose contact, who likes soccer and they all prefer to watch men's sports, arsenal football club and Manchester United, and they are female.

I think it's more exciting to watch men's sport, that's where the real fun is at, also as a gambler I doubt you will find more data on women's sports compared to men's sports, still all these depends on someone's interest but I am just trying to prove that more women are into male sports too.

It's only when it's time to back your country sport is when you will see people supporting women, for example, the women's World Cup, and that's it, the interest will die off right after, most people just have high interest in men's sports.

I think that most well reputable casinos offer odds for women soccer sports but the fact that most people do not bet on them is that they score loads of goals,the odds are really low as the difference and quality of the teams is huge at least in the national teams.For the clubs I don't know if they are offered the odds but I have seen that they are in some cases and again the reason why most people do not bet on such events is that they have not enough information as they have for men football which they watch on TV every weekend,no one watches women games and that must be the reason why not many people bet on these events.

Probably it's just because it's in the nature of men that we're into sports. But not discriminating with that opinion because we're starting to see the interest for women in different sports is growing and that's why maybe in just a few more couple of years we'll have more sports dominated by women. I think there is nothing to do with whether your bets are easier to win in men's sport than in women's. It's just all about that we've been into contact sports like boxing, football, basketball, hockey as all of those are contact and physical sports and we're not used to see women playing those sports. Anyway, I am sure that many of the co-gamblers here are also into those sports not just for how they know they are but also how interesting they are with their own respective sports that most of them participates.

You tried to show some difference between men and women but I think there is not much difference. However, there are many reasons why people are interested in making general bets in sports. For example, I see men play more in sports betting because they are more skilled in the game, while women play, but most probably there is no competition in their game. If there is no rivalry in the game and no hard fought game then the game will not be enjoyable to watch. I also bet on the women's game but have found that they are not very good and if one of my bets goes down with a team especially for cricket then that team can't come back up. On the other hand, betting odds vary widely between men, which is why I tend to bet more on men's games.

It feels like OP is new to sports betting. This is common sense IMO. I think the better question is why are women's sports not as popular as men's? Because why would people bet on a sport that they are not following? I bet regularly on e-sports, basketball, boxing, and MMA. But I haven't made a single bet throughout my life on women's basketball because I am not familiar with its players. And I am not familiar with women's basketball because I am not interested.

There are sports where I am more excited watching women though, like tennis and volleyball. Women's boxing and MMA are as exciting as men's depending on their individual fighting styles. So it really depends on someone's interest. Generally, men's sports are more popular than women's sports. But I believe women's sports are growing since more countries and people are more aware of gender equality.

I once placed a bet on women's football but my guess was wrong and I gave up betting on women's sports. Maybe my guess is wrong because it's just speculation, I've never watched women's football. And most people are probably the same, and it's too risky to place bets on games we don't know about

Even though there are now many women's sports, in general the competition is not yet popular. I'm not talking about gender but that's the reality. Because men's sports are more popular, of course gamblers will place their bets there

That is without a doubt a problem, if you were to ask me about my favorite sport I could probably name 50 different athletes out of the top of my head, and I could name several other athletes even from the sports I do not follow that closely, but when it comes to women sports there are hardly any highlights that are aired on TV, so you would have to go out of your way to search for them if you wanted to watch them, but when everything is so easily available now most people are not going to bother, and this creates a dynamic which does not allow women sports to become more popular and for its athletes to become more recognized.

People gamble on the sports they love to watch or the sports that they have a knowledge with. Aside from that many people are following what is hot or trending, and mostly, men's sports are gathering all the attention so people tend to be influenced by the trend.

Aside from that, just like the earlier reply, most of us here are man so we have more interest in men's sports, the reason why most of us are discussing men's matches, even in boxing and UFC threads, we seldom discuss female fights unless someone mentioned about female fights.

I think it mainly has to do with what is popular. If it's not popular, it's not as heavily promoted and not seen on tv. Without much promotion, it's hard for people to even know it's happening or for people to even know who the players are on a team. For example, WNBA. I couldn't tell you 1 player in the WNBA. How am I supposed to make a bet on WNBA games, if i have no clue who any of them are. Honestly, I couldn't even name more than 3 teams in the league.

Majority of men are involved in gambling than women, that’s why most of the gambling games are certainly for men. Although women are not limited to also play with it, but it’s the men that actually get a high winning rate when it comes to gambling. And for the gambling casinos to stay in profits, they will surely offer games where there are high interest and are mostly played by players. Otherwise, the casino will be at loss if they serve more women games than men games.

based on my experience, there is very little information that can be obtained on sports played by women, like a few months ago, when the women's football world cup took place I didn't make a bet, that's all because I got very little information from the teams playing, I prefer to bet on sports played by men, the information I get is a lot. just by typing what information I want to look for in a search engine about men's sports, there will be many references that appear, which are much different from information on women's sports.

The reason behind that is because women's sports receives less exposure. People are more interested in men sport as it gives more thrill, I mean seeing men sports gives excitement compared to women sports. So, the article writers do focus solely on the side which there are many readers and looking for the information which is the men sports.

There are some who sees women sports as unpredictable, the reason is also the same. There are a few information with women sports, less article and less exposure that makes it hard for everyone to consider betting.
