I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.
But hold on, is the later really playing save? In my view, even with high caps you will still be massively exposed as you have all of your eggs in one basket. Namely in the same market. Different eggs in size and colour but all eggs. If the basket falls, your eggs still get crushed.
As mentioned before, I am trading stocks for over a decade and crypto since last year. I also agree that is easier to trade stocks, simply because the volume is so high that a few whales or big investors cannot influence the market as easily by dumping their shares. The stock market is also much more regulated, if someone is being caught doing washtrading or spoofing the consequences are dramatic. In the crypto world manipulation is something that poses a constant threat. Just look at the market now, the recent dip is not tight to any event, news or even fud. 25 billion just disappeared and people are wondering wht‘s going on.
Long story short, it‘s great you have a diversification plan but also think about moving assets from crypto to fiat, stocks or raw materials and precious metals.
What is your view on that?

I think people don't just invest in the crypto market. I am sure that before and after the crypto market, the people here are investors and keep investing in the stock market, property, mutual funds, etc.

Why would everyone invest only in crypto market? well its their choice maybe because they saw more advantage on it rather than just one particular project, perhaps they saw more potential profit are being laid there.. and more advertisement is shown.
They are investing in crypto because they are tempted by the high price of bitcoin in December 2017 which is close to US $ 20,000. Who would have thought that the price of bitcoin would be that high? Everyone wants to invest and enjoy the benefits. They do not realize that crypto is a currency that has fluctuations so that investment can be profitable but it can also be a loss. 
I do not think that everyone invests exclusively in crypto-currencies. If we talk about beginners and people who do not have a big income, then yes, they do so. That is right but ever since I have been here, I have felt and recorded a growing number of people are investing in crypto and that also increased after the boom in 2017 when the price of Bitcoin and many other coins were the highest. The number of users is increasing at an increasing rate as the technology spreads and extends to other countries like Philippines and Venezuela recently. This will affect the price directly.
I do not invest only in crypto that would be silly, I do invest in stocks as well and thats all I can invest because I already have bunch of gold as well. So for me its stocks and golds and crypto after that as the third option. Crypto is just the way I get paid for my work and I keep some of it at bitcoin and not spend it so when it gets to be too much I just cash it out and keep only a small portion of it in there.
However I understand some people who invest highly on crypto and nothing else because those people barely can save anything and basically gambling their money and putting it on small coins so that it can become huge amounts and give them a chance to change their lives.

we cannot really put all our faith in one platform, crypto for that matter, we all know that crypto trading and investments are too risky compared to stocks, which is obviously already running for many years now, it is regulated and legal in all its operations, and it is more tangible than crypto, crypto trading is just new for a lot of people or investors, it is best to diversify your investment on different platforms, and i am sure that almost all traders are well aware of that.
Because everyone (especially during the drastic rise of bitcoin) sees how much they could earn through crypto investment even in just a couple of hours. They wanted to jump in and ride into the bull run without thinking about the cryptocurrencies' volatility. As a result, they are also the ones who turned crypto haters when their investment goes down drastically too.
they dont prepare their self with some skills and knowledge.just thinking about profit and forget about its volatility and risk.buying bitcoin and altcoin without any analisys could be spend our money into garbage. Perhaps simply because investing in crypto is way more profitable than investing in any platform. Crytpo is so fluctuative in any reason that is why they choosing it over in any kind of investment. However, it is still risky to invest in this platform because of unstable market but if you take that risk and you were lucky then probably I would say that well done it your success.
In the cryptocurrency market there are precious and potent coins which are highly rated and best considering for investment as you will get huge returns of your investment if you start buying one of the best crypto coins. Bitcoin is at the top in crypto world and is the most valuable as well with high potential of producing huge profit and is favorable for long term so if you want to proceed for short term then other coins like Litecoin are available. 
For one thing crypto currency as an investment is so good and promising because of its volatility in the market. Secondly, the same reason why it is a good investment is the same reason no one is adopting it as a currency in their businesses. Lastly, not many basic goods accept crypto currency. All i see honestly is porn.

Of course it is desirable to decompose its capital into several parts, so it will be very correct to mitigate its risks. I support that the media needs to be kept in a fiat or other place. Nobody can say exactly how it will be in the digital currency market. Opinions differ from the drop of bitcoins to 2000 and yes of the best expectations-return to the mark of 10,000 dollars and beyond.
Every person who invests must have their own reasons. So we don't need to ask why they invest in crypto. Maybe because they believe in cryptocurrency and they believe crypto will increase in the future. They believe that investing in crypto is very promising for the future.

Well, the investors are very well aware of the fact that how much it can be profitable in dealing with crypto as the crypto is now the best investment in the profit providing statements. However, this can be risky but even though the risk is quite less against the profit it can provide you up with...To simplify the answer by comparison in cryptocurrency.So in crypto you can invest n small amount of your money and you earn easily while in fiat market you need a big amount of money to invest profit share take per year annum.
