...because some people in the forum are already feeling frustrated of not having much merit, while some person's posses merits, and giving it out seems hard.what can be done to get this merit.

Are you personally frustrated by the fact that you can't get the merits you think you deserve, or are you asking the question on behalf of others? Let's say that this is the first question, and I will answer you very simply - most of your posts are in a board that is very specific and which is unfortunately flooded with spam posts - you will not find many who are merit sources and are active in that board, and even fewer who will look for good posts in megathreads.

Furthermore, the number of merits you see in user profiles are not those that they can share, but what they have received - there is something called sMerits and it is not visible in user profiles, although it can be calculated from the number of received/sent merits.

This question has been asked many times on this forum and also answered many times.
I don't understand why new forum members bother with this question at all.
On this forum, everyone is equal and can freely participate in all discussions, learn something new about crypto etc.
You don't need merits at all for discussion on the forum
In fact, it doesn't seem to me that there really is a merit problem on this forum. Anyone who contributes anything to this forum, in any way, gets merits without too much trouble.
It seems to me that only those members who are not interested in participating in the discussions, and are not ready to contribute anything to this forum, but only have the motivation to earn here, have a problem with the merits.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Earning some merit seems to be difficult for beginners and people that are new in Bitcoin discussion forum, and we find out that some posts made are not really worthy of getting merits, therefore, what type of post really does qualify for earning a merit, because some people in the forum are already feeling frustrated of not having much merit, while some person's posses merits, and giving it out seems hard.what can be done to get this merit.
The posts that are giving merits are not hidden before and after it has been sent one, two or some merits, you can visibly see all posts on this forum. Only what you need to do is to study this forum, do not be in haste, focus more on studying the members, the forum, the kind of posts and how quality they are before they are sent merit. You will need to study the merit source, the ones that post on the threads that you are visiting frequently. If you need a merit also, do not visit much of the boards that no merit is given, visit the better ones like those belonging to bitcoin discussion, economics and other better ones.

Getting some merit isn’t as difficult as you would have us believe. Beginners and newbies shouldn’t be on the hunt solely for the merit. The forum was created for the purpose of engaging in meaningful communication and dialogue for the purpose of attaining knowledge. We should stick to that purpose.

I personally think threads like this would further discourage the minds of newbies and make them pessimistic towards the forum and the merit system.

There are higher ranked members that are more than willing to help beginners and newbies with whatever information they may need. And I’m sure it would be clear if a newbie or a beginner is enthusiastic about learning a thing or two.
Seek ye first knowledge and enlightenment on the forum and every other thing(including merits) will be added unto you  Grin

Actually, there's so much merit in circulation now that getting it isn't that hard anymore unlike in the days when you have to be on top of your game to recieve some appreciation. Every now and then you can see people celebrating their rank up over here and this goes to show that people are actually receiving merits for their contributions on the forum. We also have some different occasional competition getting organized on the forum that can get you some merits like this; 🎃[ANN] Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 🎃 etc. Get involved in the forum fully and you'll be appreciated and not only caring about spamming the forum to get some payout weekly.

We also have some forum members that are willingly reviewing participate post history like @Pharmacist so there's basically no excuse of not receiving merits for your quality contributions to the forum unless you aren't putting some effort into your writing as @pooya87 had pointed out. Change your ways and you'll get merited, newbies not getting merited is just a myth as they're one of the most merited users on the forum.

I think you are in haste to upgrade your rank that's why you are complaining, and there is nothing you can do about it unless you keep posting and engaging in good discussions, there is no other way around this so if you aren't getting merit it's your fault.

Why getting merits seems to be difficult for beginners
Maybe because almost all the time they open spamfested topics with dozens of pages and post a repetitive reply that is already said by someone else and doesn't really add anything to the whole discussion [1][2][3]. I'm sure if they put some more effort into making constructive posts on this forum, they would start receiving more merits too.

Some of the newbies perspective is to come here in the forum just immediately to earn they don't know the fundamentals basic knowledge actually it really takes time to earn a merit and does not need to hurry too much. Once you know already the things needed to gain knowledge, experience and skills here in the community you can now share those and get merit as a reward. Its a good advice to new newbie era to learn more and enjoy here in the community after that the merit follows.

You're registered in this forum since 2017 and already get 20 merit while the rest is merit airdropped, but you're asking why getting merit is difficult? Cheesy

I think getting merit is pretty much easier compared to few years before since there's many active merit sources and the users are more active to share their sMerit. If you think it's hard, it mean you're a shitposter since shitpost wouldn't ever get merited.

There's few users in this forum want to review anyone post if they're make a good post:
1. [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed
2. [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
