yep thats true eth is now on the third spot next to xrp but even before , eth did already de-throned by bch . despite all of that , eth is still the best altcoin even when compared to xrp and bch .

Hold ethereum is a really good thing. we must be able to do a right step by holding ethereum. ethereum has many benefits for its holders to make a profit
Holding ethereum is good for a various reason. It has introduced ERC 20 token. That is why the necessity of ethereum will be always on crypto market and as a result demand of it will increase and thus, way rate of ethereum will increase too. So, we can be benefitted by holding ethereum.

If you choose only among the altcoins, then this is a worthy choice. But personally, I would not like to invest all my money only on the ether. There are several other altcoins that I would definitely buy - these are ripple, stellar and monero. Also, part of the money (of course more), I would have invested in Bitcoin. This is in my opinion the most reasonable tactic.
