"bitcoin is popular because it's been the oldest of all crypto coin so it is only normal that most community have already known it which makes it that popular which unlike other coin that has only been released like a year or two" Yeah, totally agree with this opinion. And may because bitcoin has more advantages than other cryptocurrency. People all want to use bitcoin than other.
Bitcoin popular because they dominant on market cap. Bitcoin dominant now almost 42% and when you saw bitcoin dominant last year untill more than 65%. I think thats why bitcoin more popular that other beside bitcoin is pioneer on cryptocurrency
Because it was the beginning of cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin is and will always stay as the most popular cryptocurrency in the world. Even if it dies some day, it would still be the most popular.

Bitcoin will remain the biggest crypto-currency. Zirconium did not overpass diamonds, and I think it will be the same here, Bitcoin being the diamond and zitconium being altcoins.

Yes i agree that because bitcoin is the firs its the main reason why it is popular. but there are other factor why bitcoin is famous. its easy to use faster and reliable. but today i dont think the popularity of bitcoin is still remain because of lots of alternative coins are pumping from some where and has a potential to over run bitcoin in terms of popularity,.
