The reason why Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency and its too much-gained popularity is a result of its volatility and its potential to achieve greater heights. Bitcoin is also more advantages than other currency so that is why many people much eager to have bitcoin. Even though Bitcoin is facing a price drop right now many people still invest because it is still the leading crypto of all the cryptos. So bitcoin is now popular I hope the inventor of bitcoin Satoshi must feel proud to see his invention being so popular and spreading all over the world.
The reason is simply because it simplify ways to expend and use currency. It introduces a way to figure out the crypto part of the currencies. Also because its the first to see into the crytocurrencies.

The only coin that you think is not a scam is not even on the top 10 or 20 or 30 on the list. So you better study the other top coins out there because there are definitely more than just one legit altcoin out there. Bitcoin is the most trusted because it is the prime-mover so to speak.
