I think Bitcoin is going to be the most popular one due to the fact that it got to the market first, I know some are going to turn and say that other markets haven't been so keen on the first people in the market (thinking of IBM, Yahoo, AOL, etc and so on) but in the crypto world people are going to be very skeptical to be going into new markets. Bitcoin in itself is in insane thing to join in on, so you can't expect people to want to go anywhere else than a coin which is already insanely volatile -- other coins are even worse. I just hope Bitcoin innovates so we're going to be able to last.

Exactly, bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency, because it was the first crypto currency that exist and bitcoinhas been through a lot of things to survive, but there are still so many coin that is not a scam and has a great value, doge is not a scam but the value is keep on decreasing

I think you're confusing a scam with simply being overvalued.Also to answer the topic, it's because it was first on the scene. Plenty of other cryptos are technically "better" than Bitcoin, but they'll never make it, they're simply too late.

They also use bitcoin to buy some altcoin for trading. I think if you think only bitcoin and dogecoin is not a scam while a coin is a scam .. that's wrong .. if opening a trading account in bitterx, crytopia or novaexchange. There are so many coin coins you can use for trading and can produce bitcoin. If you just focus on bitcoin and dogecoin only, you probably will not get much profit from trading. It seems that you already know the answer and you already answered your own question but just like to add up that many other crypto currency that is worth using for aside from bitcoin it's just bitcoin is the pioneer in this crypto currency world that is why it is so mainstream and it is the trademark of digital currency.
Many other coins offer more a lot of choices than bitcoin and much more cheaper and faster in sending transactions and there are also a lot of trust worthy crypto coins not only btc and doge.
