Yes, you are right. Bitcoin was the very first cryptocurrency ever made. And also it is the first ever decentralized form of currency to be introduced. It does not go through any financial institution. Which means that banks cannot control our money that is why people got interested in bitcoin. Which I think is the reason why bitcoin os really famous. And just like any other normal products in the market, people tend to imitate or make their own version of the product especially if they saw its potential and that they could earn from it a lot.

Good marketing and advertising, then they started with very low rates so everyone bought shit loads of bitcoins and last but not the least it provided services that made things easier for people and they invested in it.

I do not think bitcoin decentralization is good, this will generate the allocation level in bitcoin users, it becomes distinct, and it becomes a bad thing. I think bitcoin needs freedom.

You're right for me bitcoin is where it all started because bitcoin has been there already for years. It had already gained the trust of many users that is why its value went up for over the years.

I think the reason why Bitcoin is popular is because of its high value and it is easy to earn. Those people who just started Bitcoin was paid by just posting on a certain topic that related on Bitcoin. It is easy to learn and easy to earn money and they do not need to put a lot of effort to earn in.

because bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency and the one who started all of digital currency. Bitcoin has the biggest market cap around 10billion dollars and it is overflowing below other cryptocurrency. Even today bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency on the market. Bitcoin is the one who rules other currency because even now the value of btc is rising above the sky.

So Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency just because it was the first e-currency to be made and now on, other currencies are being made by the idea of Bitcoin. Not every other Altcoins are scam, some of them are really mean to replace money in the future, mean to be used by everyone.

i think it is the most popular currency because bitcoin is providing opportunities to the people to make money from bitcoin through trading and investment. do not think that there is any other currency which is providing you such opportunity.

First of all, because it was the one who made the category of "cryptocurrency" and is maintaining in the heads of the flock, offering better over all functionality and security than newer (innovative) but more liable in security like Ethereum.
Beside, more than 90% of the media coverage is directed towards it, because of this popularity, and hence it gains even more popularity and the cycle continue giving it a new crowd of active users.

Cryptocurrency started with no other than bitcoin so it has become almost at the same level. Bitcoin is the leader of all cryptos, everything else are mere followers.

I think you are wrong in your second statement that only dogecoin is not scam. It made me laugh even. You will eventually discover that it ain't so dude. Dogecoin is not even second to bitcoin.

I think why bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency because it is the first cryptocurrency. And bitcoin is the most accepted digital coin thats why people tends to use bitcoin than alt coins. Another reason is many people including young and adult gained profit in bitcoin thus they naturally spread the word that made bitcoin famous. lastly alt coin takes time before it emerge thats why it gives time to bitcoin to take all the spotlight.

Being the first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin received a lot of media attention that pretty much all other altcoins don't get. Because of this, a lot more people invested into Bitcoin compared to altcoins and raised the price of it. This just kept the ball rolling as more and more media attention was gained when the price of Bitcoin was rising. That gave a lot of people a little push that they needed to invest into Bitcoin and this then made the price even higher. I would say that Bitcoin is the most popular currency because it is the most valuable cryptocurrency and it has received the most media attention.

To answer your second question, most other coins are not scams, but I can understand why you might think that. Many of the other coins have a lower value which makes people think that it is a crappy investment because it will probably just crash at any moment. But what they don't realize is that it was the same when Bitcoin first came out. Most altcoins die out after a short period of time, with some exceptions of course. And they don't really gain that much attention, other than ethereum, which makes them unknown to 99.9% of the population. The combination of a low price and a lack of attention mean that altcoins are a lot less popular than Bitcoin.
