Bitcoin most popular because of its price and coins, which first appeared in the world cryptocurreny.
Bitcoin is popular because of its expensive market value which is due to the high market demand generated by its large community. As it is becoming more popular, more people are being attracted to the profit that its users are having that makes its community even more larger and its market demand higher that result for its value to be more expensive making it more popular. It is like a cycle.
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency simply because it has an expensive value and is a very good investment. It has proven a lot to people already that's why the reputation it's holding is gaining much more attention to people. Bitcoin also is the very first cryptocurreny and the first one to be successful up until now. Bitcoin has all the reason to become popular and I think that's a good thing for us. 
Guess Bitcoin is the most popular currency as it has proven itself over the years. The Bitcoin tech works and people have a lot of trust in the network. Add to this the the first movers advantage and you know why Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency for now. because bitcoin is the highest price for now, and then every time you trade coins you need bitcoin before you move in to different coins, because you do not exchange coins if your bitcoin is not being used, here in the Philippines only bitcoins able to exchange pesos.
