In my opinion, I think the reason why most ICO's take longer period of time is because sometimes the target soft cap and hard cap needs to be met, so they give that longer period of time for the for the program in other to meet that specific target. In some other cases where the targets are met, the program will be called off and payments will be made because they met there targets before the time. On the contrary, no matter how long the they allocate to any specific program, it does not have anything to do with the rewards because it is the same percentage that has been allocated for that particular project within any given time.

We cannot say that "the longer the ico, the better the price" mate, ico is the way how to funds to raise their project, so they want to be long in time just like month so that many investors also bought their coin.  As we can see that many right now doing ico, so its not easy for us to choose what coin to buy.

Depends on what the ico is selling. There are so many projects with ridiculous or similar projects that are already in existence. Such icos take a long time for investors to buy into it because of its lack of uniqueness

Personally, i do not like going for bounty campaigns with longer duration of time. The maximum number of months i can go for is just 4 months and most times i like to go for bounty campaigns that are just 2-3 months. What i have noticed, most especially for those who are into signature campaign is that those with higher rank get more of the tokens than those with lower rank in cases of longer duration of bounty.

Personally I don't think prolonging ICOs will determine how successful or how rewarding it will be for the bounty hunters. Although there are some projects which has been predermined to take a longer period Of time as envisaged by the team while some are extended because of their inability to reach their target thinking such target might be reached if the ICO is being extended.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

I have never seen ICO that last 6-7 months long. Usually it is a lot shorter time frame.
They are trying to raise money to get the project going. Longer time, means more advertising and eventually more investors and a bigger chance for a hard cap to be reached.

Though, I cannot blame them. Perhaps, some ICOs take quite a while, while some are not.  There are ICOs that keep going for a month some more than two months. Be that as it may, I see that these days ICOs are taking longer periods. I construe this has a comment with the bigger ICO advertise. The development of ICO is quick, speedier maybe than the development of ICO financial specialists. There are such a large number of ICOs today as looked at previously and every one of them are contending with each other in pulling in financial specialists. Longer periods a times are required for them to at last catch the consideration of ICO financial specialists.

Rome they say, was not built in a day. whatsoever needs to be done very well needs time and wisdom. I believe ICO is long because the team or platform involved really has a lot to put in place to avoid any circumstances that will become a threat to the realization of the reason behind such ICO.

Simply because that is the period of time needed by the dev to fully make a certain project, fully functional. The dev do usually trying to make their projects perfect as much as possible so that it would be having a successful future upon being released in the market. Patience is just needed but surely,it will be all worth waiting once the project has been completed.

To extend it in a long period is an advantage for the ICO because it continues to advertise the product in over the world by using these campaign in social media and maybe just because also sometimes the issues for the harcap.

Those who started their own business I think can find a lot of familiar things with ICOs: looking for investents, making some correcitons , advertisment, searcing for employees  etc...therefore as in our everyday life such preparations require a lot of time and hard work.

ICO is not a walk in the park where they just put their name in it and then boom! There the ico is finished. No that's not it, the team that handles ICO has many things to do, like setting their platform to the best they can offer to their customers to the listings on exchange which takes a lot of time to be done. So when you join ICO you better have patience to wait until it's done.

Mostly such a long period of time, because we start working on bounties, and the project has not yet begun the ICO, they are still preparing, developing projects and the popularity is already beginning to increase.  And for a long time in  bad projects and not able to raise funds, and they specifically delay the timing

Usually the average period of ICO is from 2-3 weeks to 1-2 months. If the ICO lasts longer, this indicates a low popularity of the project and I would not invest in this coin.

period of ICO normally is 1-2 months, if more than it, i think will be fail ICO
Dev always postpones the ICO because they aren't sure if their ICO will be success Cheesy

It lye between both hardcap and softcap achievement of the any ICO project mate. I advice you to invest your fund on good ICO in the time of pre sale itself because you will be able to get the additional percentage for the pre sale time.

ICO has been open up for the future project you can easily find that on the road map. In between this time you can get the ICO smart contract work will be done mate. Dev no need to hurry up at all right you can simply need to wait until completely contract deployment.

I'm not really sure why an ICO would be postponed, other than the project not being able to meet its projected sales cap, so they decided to do another round of sales. To answer your other question regarding how a postponement of an ICO, can end up being a little more rewarding. This is the case because whatever promotional bounty campaign they're running, if the main sale is extended or postponed, the bounty campaign will continue because more promotion is needed during this extension, in order to meet projected goal.

ICO as it seems to me this is not the best choice because there is DAICO and this gives an opportunity to risk much less with your investments.

For the higher ranks the longer the bounty the bigger the rewards that they will get,im not sure about the low rank profiles when it comes in signature campaigns because the rewards are going to be less as the higher ranks are sucking up the stakes the longer the bounty which is why it isnt recommended for the low ranks to participate long campaigns.
