Greed has existed in this world ever since the first humans evolved out of apes. So that is something we need to accept. It is a basic human characteristic. Every human is susceptible to greed, at varying levels. If you think that you are immune from it, then you're lying. So the question is what can be done. Taking out awareness campaigns can help, but I doubt such campaigns can compete against massive amount of propaganda dished out by the scammers through various social media handles.

Suppose you invest in a project without any research then you are more likely to have a scamming problem as the project may be a shitcoin or they may scam directly. In some cases our choice is skeptical so we should not invest there and should not be excited to invest in comments from other people.

Any investment takes time, patience, a great amount of research and for some, a bit of luck. People should learn that there are no guaranteed investments which can easily give huge amount of money in a small span of time.

I would say greed really caused much hype to people getting scam by projects and users especially telegram where they are told of money doubling. You don't have to be greed in all and also expect always that people asking for money doubling are looking for means of getting more funds because if they are not they would have been contented with what they have instead of requesting for more to give out.

Same analogy as in rich countries cannot function without poor people to do the dirty work. It is interesting thought experiment as what might be the state of cryptocurrency if all people are very good at doing trading and they are not greedy and at the same time they are not confused and they are very focused. I might think that the losers will simply be those who made bad trades and I also think that it would be difficult for many to earn big bucks since the competition would be intense.

I think the most commonly reason is having no knowledge at all even if you are greedy and know that it was a scam you would not give it any chance to invest on it but if you don't have knowledge at all about how it works, don't know the risk, don't know the common scam system like ponzi scheme then you can really easily be scammed by others.

You didn't add believe. Some people worship some project like god and they believe in the project blindly without even looking at the aim of that project. All they say or want is when is Binance. While the project owner is working on his /her method of dumping and running away (scamming)

many people got scam easily cause they didnt research properly on project that they joined. most of them just following signals from any trading group or from people that recognized as expert for them. i have same bad experience while invest in some project which is it will good project in future and unfortunately i wrong with this decision. scam project must be good experience for us so in future we will better.

People want to become millionaires over night, without doing anything. They dream about free money, and pretend that bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general were made to give people free money. I don't think these people really get "scammed" as what they're doing isn't real investing, it's more like gambling, and when gamblers lose should they blame anyone? People who don't want free money but want to invest in serious project built on great fundamentals and real life use cases don't get scammed.
