Everyone has this dream in them for sure, having 30$ and want to turn that into 60$ isn't wrong, it's a must to have a good life but not understanding the risk is so unwise, do not venture into something that's not predictable with all you have left
You are right the first think when maximum people got scam is joining the project without searching and trust blindly on the team. Maximum greedy people want to become rich overnight then they also join Ponzi type and HYIP type programs and lose their precious money.

These are good info but I also add some more things due to which a lot of people got scam. trust too blindly on the project, never search for the project and just look at the website attraction where some good features copied from real projects attract investors. no real social media pages.
Too naive, I think. People don't get it that the project they have interested in will try everything it can to get people's money. That's included dishonest or disinformation on its own project. People need to remove their naive for not getting scam easily.

Yes, I can whole heart agree that most people fall for obvious scams is all because of their greed. They may have limited knowledge or don't at all but with greed, it was the main driven and motivate for their downfall.

Unfortunately most of the time people who get scammed have only themselves to blame as they don't even take the time to read the project's website and properly do their own research, which usually can tell you very quickly if the project is legit or is it just another glass bead. Another problem is not doing any research at all, and counting on people on twitter etc. shilling altcoins. People don't realize they are not listening to experts or enthusiasts but paid marketers.

Mosr of these scammers these days have advanced, but if you know what you are doing and you have knowledge about the project, then there is no way you can be deceived by anyone.
