First of all we cant generalize that all persons in the media are always negative when it come to bitcoin.
Yes there are some who doesnt support it and the most probable reason that i can see is because the owners of this industry does not see the real purpose of cryptocurrency.
For them bitcoin is just a threat to their business that is why they are using media to promote their personal motives.

People are afraid of change. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are very disruptive to the global financial system. Many people in the media have traditional investments that are threatened by competing assets. Hence, they attack bitcoin out of fear.

because they didn't know about bitcoin and how very useful is.they didn't accept the crypto currency as money they didn't decentralized and control bitcoin currency..thats why they against bitcoin..
Some Media is controlled by someone who are greed enough to put bitcoin down so they can have it at a lower price. Though media play a major role every time bitcoin pumps but they must be deliver a right information to people so they can’t prevent panic buying or selling.
I don't think all medias are negative about bitcoin. They usually say about the investment risk and they are true. There are also many benefits which are discussed. The current situation is much better than the past.
It is simply because their local governments might be controlling them - the media - to do such accusations and tell their viewers mostly negativity about Bitcoin. They just warn people maybe because many agencies and scammers use Bitcoin as a front for their investment scams. Yet, there are still some media who doesn't televise their own thoughts only (which most of reporters do), who talks to Bitcoin and Crypto-enthusiasts.
Not all the media are always saying bad things about bitcoin but thre are really some that always treat the bitcoin as bad as they can because of the idea that they have on it. Bitcoin was largely use in a drug selling site in a stie called silkroad that can be accessed only through deepweb and some kind of browser. And that idea about bitcoin is making them imagine and have an idea on it as an evil used cryptocurrency because of what the deepweb have shown. But they have really missed the good site about it and doesnt really want to know it. Bitcoin allows everyone to invest in it and also promotes decentralized authority in buying which is great for cheaper fees. Though bitcoin really have some flaws, still having an idea about it being a bad thing is really questinable.
Media is always scared of what they cannot control. Decentralisation goes against control by design, so the media are trying to scare people away to keep the control they have over the masses.
So maybe they are negative about what they say about bitcoin because there are countries that do not like bitcoin because they are hackers and big scams. but there are also media that the news is true is a good influence and the bitcoin is a big cryptocurrency and you can become an instant millionaire for bitcoin and will publish it and spread around the world and because of that bitcon will be famous in over the world.

If someone can't understand something, he starts to blame it. People are made like this, it's hard to tell yourself that you are weak. So, it's never too late to learn something new, especially in cryptoworld!!! Nowadays we have almost unlimited access to information, in internet everything is near, just take it.

Well, that can be one reason(although i think the people that controls the media are the ones that truly benefit from this) or maybe because the negativity is what makes them have a lot of viewers. Let's face it. People love to listen to negative stuff more than how they love to watch positive things. They are intentionally doing this or completely unaware of this reality. Which is what the media is taking advantage on. But nonetheless, it really wouldn't hurt that bad because nowadays, people are smarter than that. Most of the people will now search and validate things for them selves(except for those lazy people).
The media form a negative background for the masses - this is a fact. Therefore, there are such collapses of the course. The people are prone to panic. But, of course, the media is paid for and such news does not just happen. Apparently, it is profitable for someone.

People tend to give way too many judgment on some things like bitcoin. When it comes to their say about bitcoin, usually they rely on news on the social media that is not a hundred percent true. Speculations makes people panic about their investments, medias who spread news like this just want to earn more views because bitcoin right now gains a lot of attention from the public. Actually the main thing is those media who publish kind of content about btc. They always picks up more negative news, as this creates more excitement.they just want their views. people always read those kind of news.

This is very simple. it is all about their (media) marketing. what if they publish article against bitcoin they gain lot of viewers. this the motto of media !
The media can be very easily influenced and imposed on them the necessary information. Therefore, you should always analyze the information that you study and trust only reliable sources.
