it's simple. if the government and banks decided to stand against bitcoin, then the media has no choice but to follow what those guys said and they automatically brings some negative news about bitcoin along with its investment. Roll Eyes

I think one of the reasons why media hates bitcoin is only their tactic to spread FUD to people to let bitcoin down so they can somehow buy bitcoins at a lower price or perhaps, they just do that to get attention of the people specially if these media companies are already declining.

Because there is almost no media that has freedom of speech.
All are owned by businessmen who use them for manipulations from which they can win. Most of them are also owners of banks. That is why the media are negative.

Maybe because media paid by banks or other some people who hates btc. That was only what I am thinking and my opinion about this situation. Also because banks are nervous on btc thats why.

They're not all negative. The media tends to overreact and that's because exaggeration sells. When bitcoin was at its peak, they were running stories on where your 100$ bill would be if you invested a year ago. Additionally public opinion is still divided whether it's a scam or not. Lots of experts claim it's a bubble and there are also lots who believe in its value. However, right now especially when most regulations are being drafted, it's in a bad light.

I think not all media, there are some media that preach positive about bitcoin. if in Indonesia there is CNN Indonesia and Detik.com. but some preach negative bitcoin about ransom demanded by irresponsible people. such as kidnappings and other crimes. but I personally still believe there are still many positive values of bitcoin.

We should not be expecting the media to be a big friend of Bitcoin. Why? It has something to do with the fact that Bitcoin is now an investment vehicle and we know that it has many risks involved. The media is then playing as a warning agent...this is one role it loves to portray all the time as the buddy of the people or their captured market. We are already past the honeymoon stage with the media (where many of the reports are positive). We are already in the scrutiny stage (where many reports are negative). Almost new things have gone this way in connection with the media. Scrutiny stage is the stage that can last longer before things will stabilize and a fair treatment can be expected. Now, we should always understand that the media is a business too and they are always fighting for the attention they can get from their viewers hence they have the tendency to make things sensational. This is just part of the marketing techniques.

O dont think media is a negative sense to bitcoin. Its actually a way of spreading bitcoin knowledge and also the spread of good way of earning and way of payment. Good way of earning because bitcoin can help your financial status because of its different strategies or ways to earn here like trading,mining,gambling and investing. Good way of payment because bitcoin allowing us to send money or tokens to any kind of wallet just make it sure that it is trusted, the transaction using bitcoin is so fast and reliable.

Yes they intentionally do it and together with it that's how they earn from those news. And sometimes there are people who wants themselves to be interviewed just to give their idea and they are paying these medias for it.

The main reason is they cannot control it, nor influence it in any major fashion. MSM that is, smaller journalists and online media have a different view on BTC.

The banks don't like it for similar reasons, plus in instances like Cyprus people avoided having the bank steal their money during a crisis.

Why you ask because the world has been run by corrupt Governments and banks. where they manipulate people and treat us like sheep for there AGENDA . Cryptocurrency takes it out from underneath them people like the Rothschild's etc that is a massive threat as they want to manipulate everyone with there Fiat,Goverment , Banks keep everyone in debt whilst people suffer and the rich get richer. The Blockchain solves problems banks cant handle and gives control to the people. Now what there aim will be is to tarnish ,fud what ever it takes regulate crypto then centralize then turn around to the sheep and say look we have fixed the problems with crypto now we should all adapt it and wipe there western society debts clean that they have made with there fiat. It is clear strategy from traditional investors and bankers where they were giving very loss or near to nothing for peoples saving . So now money going to crypto currency where no body can control . Again this medias are funded by these bankers and investors.
