Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

I dont know exactly what they want because they have different interest.
In my eye, they are as media work based on news, news is their profit so they will inform very quickly if they get news.

Well,we should atleast increase the level of awareness regarding to the changes happening in bitcoin community or in the world of crypto as well as for it's value in the market.Maybe one of the reason why media exposing only the disadvantages of bitcoin is simply because they don't have any deep knowledge and understanding about bitcoin. Also,we should always keep in our mind that media manipulates the viewer to believe on what they want us to believe. Moreover, the information we received in some social media sites or even in television is limited and fabricated in which is favorable for those people behind this evil scheme

The media have to make a news more sensational to make more money out of it,thats why they are adding more negativity about bitcoin if there is a regulation from the government.
The other reasons maybe the medias are owned by the whales so they can use it to manipulate the prices of the bitcoin by spreading negativity about it to the investors.

Hello everybody. I think that there may be a lot of answers. The first thing that comes to mind is that these press representatives themselves do not understand the Bitcoin theme, being a blind mouthpiece of state structures. It's no secret that the crypto world is starting to compete with today's banking system - what is a state without a centralized banking sector? You can say that this is the death of the state. A lot of states understand the inevitability of the crypto economy, so they are looking for ways to introduce bitcoin into their financial sector. And those states that will understand this first - will receive an additional, advanced tool that works for the benefit of society. The second reason why media space negatively speaks about bitcoin is a large percentage of ICOs that deceive their investors. All experts, in one voice, say - invest only the amount that you are ready to lose. And the third reason is that the decentralized bitcoin makes it possible on the Internet to pay for goods banned in the countries.
One can say anything, anything to resist Bitcoin, one thing is clear: a currency has been created, the adjustment of which is almost impossible. And it is up to us to decide whether we will use it for good purposes.

Media does not reveal the truth nowadays. They just want to increase their viewers ratings and they are ready to go to any extent to achieve it.They just want to create hot topics by giving sensational news and have debates about it.They are never bothered about the ethics of journalism. They tried their best to hide the bitcoin news from getting in to mainstream. When bitcoin price grew high to reach $10,000,they had no other option than telecasting it.Also they are lobbied by big financial firms to telecast the news which suit their interests.

You must understand that the majority of the media is controlled by the same powers that control the western central banking system. -snip-
This sounds like something i want to believe.
Do you have any facts for what you are saying?
-snip-
If you want to believe it than I guess there is nothing that could stop you from doing just that Smiley
Nobody will provide you with evidence because there are none. Its mostly a guess or estimation of reality we are living in.
Over 100 years ago there was more than 80 news/media company worldwide (majority in the states). Today we have, like 6?
Massive conglomerates, owning entire sports teams and movie studios. Their stocks are "free" for everyone to buy.
It would be stupid not to assume, that super-rich family's are not owning some significant amount of those shares.
This however is a commercial secret, none of those conglomerates will ever expose their investors(I think its even against the law), and so shareholders can rule from behind the curtains. If you look at the background of the chairman's in major media-complex's, you can notice that almost all of them where at some point employed in the banking system(but that's not a prof). Simple image emerges and it is described in a form of a question, that is the tittle of this thread. A: It threatens their very existence.

because the media needs money to pay their employee and they don't care about everything. as long as they can get huge money, then they will do many ways to earn more money. but this is not for all media because I am sure that there are a media that will concern with the fact and only give the truth to the people and sometimes, to do this, this media can get bad things because they giving the real fact and not only for the money.

That is because a lot of countries government have put cryptocurrencies as an illegal tender. Maybe because of many negative thoughts have come up for bitcoins. Even the price has decreased considerably.

These media reflect the policy direction of the country to some extent.

Because they don't know about bitcoin, or maybe the media have teamed up to short the market, profiting from the cryptocurrency market.

Many media representatives speak on behalf of the government!

The negative impact of the media is largely from the government's opinion!

Due to the development of the Internet, many media are personal media, and they do not know the meaning of digital currency! Maybe it's because you can't make money and get jealous!

Media will only report negative reports.Media is become negative about bitcoin .I think they do this to attract more viewers and readers.users of bitcoin become afraid and worried, then through negative media, media just tries to put as much as possible hype into their headings nothing else .

Media is a very powerful tool in advertisement that it can even topple down a government with it's fake news. So maybe there is an influential people that have paid the media to make some negative news about bitcoin so the people will panic and move away from cryptocurrency. Media can be paid, i knew that.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

the media earn money with news that provoke panic or very enthusiastic, in short... the media make money publishing news that has a big impact.

Did you see when the bitcoin price was $18,000 what happened? all news channels were talking well of bitcoin, if today the news channels are talking bad bitcoin is because they need news that have some impact.

if you do not have great good news about bitcoin, then the media will post bad news.

get used to it because this is something that happens with everything that is popular (in this case, bitcoin is popular)

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

well I've answered these questions and just to add: imagine that tomorrow you become the only person on the planet with superpowers, you would be on the cover of the newspaper every day and the critics would surpass the compliments
right, media dont care what is good or bad, whats important to them is the reader that will buy their news..and since cryptocurrencies is the biggest earning in media industry now, they love making story in negativitu to make an impact.if i were you, stop checking news and focus in crypto for good

because one of the make price down or up is the news about bitcoin. like few days ago there's a news that china or korea really really banning Bitcoin from their country and after that the price drop instantly and few days later there's a news that korea not really ban bitcoin so the people buy it again. so media make negative news about bitcoin cause there's someone out there want to buy bitcoin in cheaper price.

Reason #1: the media is a government tool, and the government wants to hold back crypto to monopolize the currency ~ fiat.
Reason #2: Most journalists are good at writing, not good at exploring and evaluating the future of crypto, so they are the tools of the speculators to pump / dump.

Why do people still believe and read an unbiased media, people really need to think and research on their own. Please name me an unbiased media except for WikiLeaks.

Because its profitable for personal, neither it the profit from the news or profit from the FUDs.
