Greed, simple. People feel like they missed out on bitcoin and want to hit the next bitcoin. People also think bitcoin is expensive and can't afford one so they like alts because they are "cheaper" and can buy a ton. It's a physiological play as well. Either way greed is involved and they want to catch the next run with a coin that can double, triple, etc their money.

Honestly, my investment in altcoins is higher compared to Bitcoin when it comes to their DCA accumulation. Because I believe that the chances of me getting a big profit from altcoins are higher compared to Bitcoin.

Although there is a risk if you are not sure what you are buying, I am sure that their value will increase for me, especially when the rally of the bull run on Bitcoin starts, it is 100% that the altcoins I hold will also follow, because it is impossible no.

that's right but it's also caused by the fact that it rather requires low capital to invest relatively different if compared with bitcoin and even ethereum where if you just invest something little not more than $50 even the increase of value will have somewhat small effect on your investment overall, altcoin are just right for starting out with the rather smaller capital and build your way there.
so it's only normal that so many people out there are interested in investing in an altcoins, just see that even with smaller capital you could make some really massive returns in which rarely happens with those bigger market capital coins let alone bitcoin but of course there's also underlying risk of losing the investment which is considered fine by most since it's small capital which we are talking about.
