Investing in Bitcoin is low risk. On the other hand, investing in Altcoins is very risky. But still people are willing to invest in altcoins. Because people like to get hidden gems. Some altcoins pump 100% or more during a bullrun and this acts as a triggering factor to invest in altcoins.

Everybody buys altcoins because of the promising future they have, only a few truely goes for the product that this altcoins have to offer, the Rest are just there to profits from been in early.
You aren't alone, we all are here for the money. Bitcoin is gold but altcoins are diamonds and the more you have the higher your chances of pickings the right altcoins that'll receive the attention to pump.

If you have bought bitcoin in 2021 when the price was around 60k, you will understand better that bitcoin has high risk but it is less riskier when you compare them with Altcoins that can make you overnight and send you to the less priviledge with a single miss step. I like altcoins because of their high return and that is why you see people shill them to each other but nobody like the downside of them, so you must be very careful when yo buy them and exit when you have gather your profit, don't wait until you hit a particular zone because it is possible that price may never come again.
what makes me interested in Altcoins is because it's only in altcoins that can make us have multiple profits in a not too long period of time. but the risks taken are indeed comparable to the opportunities or potential that we get. it's just that we have to be careful in analyzing. we must first analyze the fundamentals of the altcoin project that we are going to enter. some Layer 1 and 2 altcoin projects have very good potential sometimes. but there are also many layer 1 projects that end up failing. I personally always see who supports behind the ongoing project. and the project that I'm in is a project that if there are people with a good reputation behind the project.
There are lot of numbers of people who always needs high profits in returns probably 10x to 30x and i from what i understand mostly they are looking for a means of getting involved with such projects making them dive into any altcoin they found out without doing much investigation about those projects.Usually people gets enticed with higher ROI which is mostly common with altcoin project,sometimes it comes to reality while most of them fails along the way.
It's hard to make 100x gain from Bitcoin or Ethereum and 100x is enough to change someone's life for good, imagine investing a thousand dollars in an altcoin and the altcoins just shoot over the roof doing 100x that's 100k in dollars, this is the dream of every altcoin investors, but also altcoin has the most massive damage, all your money can go near zero.
You can still gain this profit in Bitcoin, but it takes time, like a year or so, by holding it, which is safer, but it is not like altcoins, where if you find a promising coin and invest in it, you can be doubling or more your profit because once it's listed on an exchange, you'll make massive profit on it within a week or a month, but again, the risks are high, which is why people loved it more.

I agree that Altcoins can be a good source of profit if you invest wisely and choose the right coins to put your money into. However, the market has been unpredictable lately, so I'm not trading as much as I used to. I plan to buy more alts, such as ETH and SOL, and a few other coins that I see good potential in for the near future. The reason behind the investment in altcoins is the same, all people are aware of the things that it provides high return but forget about the things that altcoins have no surety sometime altcoins fails to give you profit therefore it is to be noted that bitcoin also provides you higher return and through investment in Bitcoin you will have no fear about its dying. So whenever bitcoin become dump there is a hope that one day it will increase in worth and your money will recover once more but in the case of other altcoins we have no such surety. So people interested in altcoins because of its huge return but actually they prefer higher return and ignore about its risk.

I don't have enough capital to invest in bitcoin, so I invest in alcoin, one of my favorite alcoins is the ethereum coin and the bnb coin, these two coins I still hold, I plan that after I release alcoin, I will switch to investing in bitcoin.
Your cause is One of the reasons for people using alt-coins. I used to do that when there was a small amount। Of investment fund. Moreover, I think many people invest in alt-coin because of greed. But I think all smart people invest in Bitcoin. Currently I am only focusing on bitcoin for all of my investment because of it's securities after seeing this bear market and some incident.

that's always the primary reason, it's better for short term investment but the downsides it's also carries risk of making you lose all your money instantly.it's definitely suited for those seeking volatility for speculation.
