For me i ithink people holding their bitcoin for a long time because theyre waiting or they are predict that the value of bitcoin or any coins are going rise . so they will not regret someday.
Yeah you are right that there is a lot of people holding their bitcoin for the future and they are sure that bitcoin will increase its price in coming future and they are believe that bitcoin will be profitable for us in the future so i prefer that hold your bitcoin is much more better for us.

for those who can analysis of trading market and knows the bitcoin will go high, they will hold bitcoin. im not proffesional in trading thats why im not hold long term for bitcoin. when i got some free bitcoins i go sell it at highest price at the day.
That is like asking why are people fishing money out of a bucket. It's cash it's right there it's easy to get you can buy Bitcoin wait two weeks and it'll be worth more. If somebody put out a free dish of money at the local restaurant you'd be the first one to reach in there and grab it , so why ask this question?
He asking cause he doesn't have faith in bitcoin future. Nothing is free as you saying, or that easy. To come to that free dish you need to hear before others, to get there before, with one word you need to be informed.
Its not free, bitcoin have potential to worth more and to be much more in future. Bitcoin is young and if its now progressed so much, what will be in the future when its get old and better accepted? That is why we are holding and trying to earn more if we can to have enough when that times come.

Bitcoin can't rise in price. Someday it will end. I don't understand those people who save on everything and keep their coins. I think you need to spend coins without regret and try not to save money and earn more.That is awkward when you are telling it in a bitcoin community.

It can protect from inflation and nowadays it is the most safe and cheap currency. If you keep crypto currency there is a high probability that tomorrow it will significantly increase and you will accidentally become rich.

Holding btc is very much profitable, that's why people hold bitcoin.Bitcoin price was 900$+ in the starting of this year and now it's crossed 4000$.So,by holding 1btc for 8 months you can get profit upto 3000$.It can make you rich in small time.So,I think holding is a great idea to increase your bitcoin fast.
