This may be because of the social media influence. Cryptocurrency has many altcoins in its circle. But the prices go up and down at a slower rate than of the bitcoins. These days bitcoins had raised up faster so bitcoins were or are too much trend.

because other "cryto currency" also known as altcoins are not known to anyone outside of the bitcoin circles. whenever the media is talking about crypto currency they are talking about bitcoin!
additionally the altcoins are mostly pretty terrible. they are made to be pumped and dumped so they are not really something people are interested in.
bitcoin on the other hand is a real currency which you can actually use to buy stuff with either online of offline and that will always give it an edge. not to mention all the attention that is going to bring for bitcoin.
in additional to this,being the most popular ang high valued,bitcoin is the most secured coins to invest because of its domination no other alts can take its place so our investment are secured..but i knew some alts that is good to trust,like ethereum and monero this two coins are stablished and wont let you fail but only for long term..its wasn't advisable for daytrade because the price is not moving high fast additionally the altcoins are mostly pretty terrible. they are made to be pumped and dumped so they are not really something people are interested in.

The first word I heard to the path of wealth is "bitcoin" then I searched it and as far as I know Bitcoin is the oldest and mother of all crypto currencies around the world, altcoins are just the follow ups but bitcoin is still the main crypto currency and if you will notice that if bitcoin's price goes up or down so does all other crypto currencies. Take note that in altcoins they are easily lost within their specific time frame because the process in that is a specific altcoin is going to be pumped after that everyone with that coin will dump so does its value.

People will be attracted to a specific coin depending on how in depth knowledge they have on a certain coin or capital before investing. There are also people who are just joining the hype of the current pumping coin in the market, so it only means that there are different reasons why people are investing on cryptocurrency.

Because bitcoin is the face of crypto and it's the main choice when you want to exchange your fiat to crypto. There's always two which is BTC and ETH and it's obvious that they recognized btc more so that is why they go into it.

I think its true that people more attract to bitcoin and not to altcoin but it was happening before the altcoin take a place for their popularity.

for me, nowadays, bitcoin campaigns is rare, so im going for altcoins for now!, so i would say im attracted to altcoins in this era! stili im doing trading with altcoins and all my transactions in cryptoworld is all altcoins! but when I cashout all my profit/earnings it will be converted to bitcoin, i dont have a choice but to convert it to bitcoin, so I am always go back on bitcoin knowing its importance. also it will be very good if we hodl bitcoin coz it is now rising, also knowing its capability and its stablity.

For me as a newbie i only know bitcoin i am not familiar with other crypto currency, I think that's the reason why people tend to attract for bitcoin rather than the other crypto currency. Nowadays bitcoin is the number and the most popular crypto currency and also the effect that it brings to the people also matters. It’s because bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency made and it has a high value among the other cryptcurrency or altcoins. And also, people are depending on what media potrays about cyptocurrency, they are focus on bitcoin rather than the other altcoins, but hopefully altcoins will be recognized sooner, not just bitcoin.
