Because people want to get a big profit, and bitcoin has already proved that it is profitable, reliable as a currency and safe as an investment.
this is because its the original crypto currency and hence its the most popular, its the one that is mostly talked about and has become the bench mark on which all crypto currencies are judged and as such garners the most confidence from people .were there a proper structure behind crypo advertising then you would see the popularity of some other coins increasing but because they are not talked about people don't know of their existence, bitcoins is talked about daily in the news and that's why people are drawn to it initially , then they find out about the huge capacity for growth and financial wealth and then that seals the deal.

My opinion is that unlike any other cryptocurrencies, bitcoin has made already a well-known foundation over the years it has worked in the online community. The name is simple and clever in my opinion. And this does not surprise me that many people have been using the terms bitcoin, online money, cryptocurrency, and internet coins interchangeably. These all contributed to the now popularity and demand of bitcoin
Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and It has been the most established and popular coin. That's why, people are in general attracted to bitcoin.
There are many cryptocurrency in tha online market now but all the currency price are not buildup like bitcoin.This is the main reason to people attract for the bitcoin.Bitcoin is the most trusted currency and most valuable currency its also a cause to attack people.
So I think that people come mostly because of its price and it attracts them. Usually in a society when it means something expensive someone gets to buy a bitcoin so it attracts attention and people are bitcoin all over the world, they are not known by those who live under the stone.

In fact all the crypto markets depend in Bitcoin, when its price go up, altcoins prices go up too, and the inverse is right too. Also BTC price still high and far from the other altcoins.

It is because the bitcoin is the strongest and the most popular cryptocurrency. Many people are keep investing their money in bitcoins because of the high profitability of the bitcoin. The price of the bitcoin also is keep increasing and it is one of the reason why many people are attracting to the bitcoin. 
In my opinion, everyone already knows the answer to this question. About bitcoin is known to almost everyone who has ever been interested in crypto currency. A few know about the existence of altcoyins. This is one of the reasons why bitcoin is so popular. In addition, the media quite often declare how expensive bitcoin is and therefore people are trying to invest in bitcoin to get a good profit.
Because bitcoin started cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency didn't introduce bitcoin. Bitcoin introduced cryptocurrency instead. People know about the term bitcoin first and cryptocurrency later. Even I got to know about bitcoin earlier than cryptocurrency. So it is of course much more famous than all the crypto currencies and hence it attracts more people.
Can I correct someone in this thread saying that Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency because it is certainly not. There were many others who started the cryptocurrency era but none of which made it big other than Bitcoin, thanks to the blockchain technology. I give credit to the blockchain technology because among all digital currencies, it was Bitcoin that pioneered it causing the world to rejoice over such innovation in terms of storing data. It even reached to a point whereby some governments wanted to utilize it even so if it means forgetting about Bitcoin itself. Hence, I must say the blockchain technology was the defining feature of Bitcoin that effectively sets it apart from all others.
The main advantages of Bitcoin are the network benefit effect and proven security. Both of these advantages are almost insurmountable. Bitcoin has a proven use case - storage of value. most of the coins are trying to somehow differ from Bitcoin, so they offer less-demanded usage scenarios, including forecast markets, completely anonymous purchases, or the addition of a decentralized name server.

Since bitcoin is the strongest, so people will choose bitcoin as an investment, bitcoin value keeps on increasing and is great for changing the future.
Even in crypto could be conservative investors. Those who have a low risk tolerance are often less comfortable with the altcoins and might wish to avoid it entirely.
