because bitcoin is more developed in terms of growth compared to altcoin that has been circulating. at present, none of the altcoins can be strong bitcoin competitors. It's just a bitcoin shadow. maybe in the future there is altcoin that has technology and system that can beat bitcoin.
agree. bitcoins price is the one main factor on why people are so obsessed with it but its not true that bitcoin has no competitor. bitcoin does have a lot of competitor especially etherium and infact many people were also going for altcoins aside from their bitcoins investment because altcoins were verry suitable for trading purposes due to the fact that they have a lot of different kinds. you can trade them from one to another while gaining a profit at the same time.
