Many people fear about bitcoin for some reason, I think they are lack of knowledge about what bitcoin do to our society they never know the all good possible way to make people success using bitcoin, I think they fear it to lose their money when it comes to online investment, and yes online investment is risky and big potential to lose you money if you really don't know how to choose the right investment project or investment company that's why many people against of it.
Theres some reasons i think :
They think its a big scam ( if you are new in crypto of course )
The price of it was really high right now scared that if they invest on it then suddenly go to dip
Its hard to them to understand what bitcoin really is ( also from new comers )
Some scared to it because of this non controllable currency ( some country i guess )
Thats the reason i think why feared of it

For new investors, it is really scary at first since you are initially starting. But, once you grasped the ropes, then you would find it even fun to wait for the market to change.
sure its scary and verry confusing when your a first timer at investing in bitcoin but hell no, its not fun and enjoyable at all to see that the market is changing from time to time because your money is always at risk. not only newbies and beginner but even experts and pro investors are still getting nervous and scared to loose at all whether it is a small or big capital. in my case i dont really have a fear on bitcoin because im not an investor and im not putting any amount on it.
Many people are afraid of bitcoin because of its high range the way it is increasing and also because of the lack of information which they are getting about bitcoin.

People fear about bitcoin because they might not have proper information about bitcoin may be misguided about it and also in few countries bitcoin is not recognised by the government. By considering all these reasons people fear about the bitcoin and also because of the scams that create fear among the people.

I guess they are just afraid of getting stuck in a failure in investing.actually if studied more, we will know the various advantages of bitcoin.
with bitcoin we can make the transaction process easier, and with bitcoin we can get a tremendous advantage.
all that we can do by always learning and understanding the characteristics of bitcoin so as to minimize the risk of failure.
Not all people are understand or familiar with technologies, especially old people and people in developing countries. Probably its will be difficult for some of them to understand about what bitcoin is and even how the market work. I think they already heard about many bad news about bitcoin related it usage in illegal transaction and the extreeme volatility. I am sure that many people are fear about bitcoin because of those reason.
Bitcoin is like a bubble, it can take you down to the ground or you can fly to the clouds at any time 
because its decentralized and nobody controls it, when u join bitcoin trading u have 2 things big profit or big lost
so dont join or invest if u cant and not ready to losing some money

There's a lot of reasons why people had fear in bitcoin which is they all have doubts because of some scammer around of bitcoin boundary. . Also because of some average minded person who intimidated ." Always saying bitcoin is a scam dont trust on it cause its a ponzi schemes " even its really not. Perhaps they dont know how to search on their own manner. They always rely to other that also have no specific idea . Lol

There are a lot of investors and non investors which has different opinions and has a bad experience about bitcoins but we do need to care for them just believe in btc that it really has a bright future so we can earn a lot of money.

Well for me maybe because for the past hearsays thay they have encounter they build their own perspective that they may scammed something like that if they try bitcoin. People were afraid for something that actually because of his own belief.
The answer is simple. It's because they don't have enough knowledge about the Bitcoin they are lack of knowledge about the system, the used and the opportunity it can bring to a certain person or community.
I'm a proof of that. I'm a student and i choose the forum as my part time job because you can work at home and study at the same time, the only thing you need is have a time management and when i started to earn profit and exchange it to our local money (FIAT) i started spreading the words to my friends and families and most of them are really doubting about it. They thought that the internet is for searching only or what and said that it may be illegal since you can't earn through internet and some of them thought the bitcoin is used only in black market or in the deep web and once you have bitcoin your doing illegal.
So i can't do anything about it, even tho i want to share my knowledge about it they choose just to stay away from it.

You should share your experience to friends, and it's normal. Just sometimes tell about bitcoin and blockchain news, what are you doing at free time (searching internet and messaging at bitcointalk).
You should inspire them to ask you about cryptocurrencies. Even don't try to teach somebody, just inspire them.
What are you saying it? Do you know those people who feel fear about bitcoin? Because i never see anyone who have fear with bitcoin. I always see bitcoin's lover and i am one of them who love bitcoin and i do work day and night to earn only bitcoin. Because bitcoin is only one unique cyrpto currency which make us rich. So don't feel fear about bitcoin and start to save bitcoin because of rich.

It's mostly due to lack of information, many think you need to be tech savvy to be able to understand and use bitcoin and so they just wouldn't pay attention to learn a thing or two about it. These make them loose the chance to know some basics at some point and it keeps coming back to hunt them from time to time.

People who are illiterate about bitcoin and people who feel secure in one single mode of payment that is paper currency which they are use to don't want to believe in bitcoin so they fear that may be it is not true and may be we will lose our savings if we buy bitcoin.
