Yes probably it depends to country's decision to banned or embrace bitcoin. When the country is against bitcoin how to hold the coin if your country banned bitcoin. So the right things to do is to sell it thinking that you couldn't have gain in bitcoin someday. The rush sell will be arrange by you to think you are in the time to choose whether you hold it and gain nothing or sell it to have a profit. But I think you can still hold bitcoin when times come you go and make some travel to other country you can sell it there in the right time that you fill you can have a big profit.
People sell bitcoin to gain more. This is what you call trading. You buy it when its value is low and then you sell it when its value rises.

It's because they don't want to incurr more losses so they try to avoid it and withdraw. My suggestion is that, don't be discourage when Bitcoin have many dips this month, but instead we better to buy additional investments in Bitcoin because the price is lower than before. This is the best time to buy since the price is lower and hold for a longer period of time then once you have reached your the desired income that's the time to sell it.

Well, in my opinion, thats depends on the person:
- People who use BTC as an investment, they buy bitcoin when the prices suits and then sell them in order to get more money and so.
- People who works in the network and get paid in BTC. If they need cash, of course they will be in the need of sending their bitcoins! (as on any other work)
- People who spend money on btc, then get afraid because they are losing money so it begins a “panic selling”.
- People who just need cash…
- Because your country is starting some legal discussions about btc and you can’t pronostique anything good…
- So they get more BTC…etc
In short, it depends on the kind of person, why he/she has BTC, and on the country you live…
