Bitcoin is strong and it’ll be much better again. For that reason iI think it's ridiculous to sell. If you don’t have urgent needs or if you don’t need cash immediately you shouldn’t sell it. For me i prefer not to sell btc, patience is very important if you really want to make good profit.

There are unbounded of reasons why individuals sell their BTC. Most importantly individuals sell since they think its cost is sufficiently high to give them a benefit. Another reason is because they need fiat than digital currency which is only limited for transactions compared to fiat which is worldwide. At present, the market is showing signs of going down, so psychology people are afraid. And when I saw the market in question, I sold everything I had, and that made the market go down. Because of the general psychology, people are selling large amounts of bitcoin to cripple the virtual currency market. These are the main reasons people sell bitcoin.

Well ideally bitcoin is a means of investment, but if you really need the money for whatever reason, you have to sell the coins to get some sort of fiat currency back.
You got it right people sell their bitcoins becuse of daily needs and especially for foods and shelter to keep them alive.But the nice of bitcoin was have a capability to pump it's value that's why you remaining bitcoin will higher again.So you don't have to worry if half of your bitcoin will sell it as long as you keep the half as your holdings. Practically to earned profits.Bitcoin is a business and a investments.So in order to gain profits,we need to sell it if we think that the profit is enough.And if the price of bitcoin drops,then reinvest it again.
Practically saying yes but not all the investors selling it cause they gain profit some people sell it because they panic becuase the price maybe Go down because of the negative news they heard but theres no proof/ evidence. then like your saying as long they get a profit most of the investor do what your saying and its right.

Why people sell bitcoins? Ofcourse to gain more proifit, some times because they need money for emergencies. Main reason why they sell their bitcoins is to gain more profit when the value of bitcoin is high.

People sell BTC for various reasons. Someone panics, someone needs money, but someone earns good money in this way. But I'm sure that now is not the best time to sell it. Its price will rise in the near future.
The majority sells their bitcoin because they wanted to have fiat since bitcoin can't be use on buying things in most of the countries. They wanted to feel the money that they are making through bitcoin that is why they are selling it(obviously because they can't feel the virtual one). Panic selling is always the reason why people are selling their bitcoins when the price is having a huge fluctuations(dipping), can't help it though.

It is also possible that they already reached their desired profit that's why they already decided to sell it so that they can use the money in another form of investment. Most of the times, it is about panic. People are selling bitcoin because they don't want to lose more money from the dump or from the panic selling so they join it, they are so afraid to the market which is one of the worst thing to expect from them because you should not be investing into something that you cannot endure the risk that is involved.
