Of course, in most cases, people just try to get a little cryptocurrency in order to get rich, some get a lot, but in the end the project becomes a scam project. I think you need to understand the difference.
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing?

People are just greedy which is why there are so many coins in the market, you look at the coins that are being created now and you just know that they ae scam coins which people are making in a bid to make themselves millionaires in a short time. It is one of the problems that the market is currently facing, too many coins are being created
Each person has his own personal goal, someone wants to get rich quickly, others want to develop their own unique idea, each has own motives.
I think they're creating their own coins because it might be popular and become rich or they're scamming people.

Maybe some people are interested in the technology and try to start their own project, be creative. But mostly this is just because of money, it's very unlikely to see a reliable project made by amateurs.
They don't just waste their time creating shitcoin, they are making money by doing it, but it's not easy, they will manage to build a community, that will invest in their coins, and after that they will just abandon their own created coin.
There is so much greed in this space. It makes me a little jaded at times. I wish less people would try to print their own money.

It's not nothing brother! These people are making tons of money. This is the general reason for creating them in the first place, to make profit! And I couldn't blame these people because they found an easy and reasonable way of earning money. How noble is it for some to come up with a coin or project with the goal of economic/monetary development?! Only a few came out with a real product actually, but they still made a lot! Waste of time? I doubt.I am agree. Many peoples build their own coin with similiar project but they dont create real project. They just want to take benefits from peoples who not understand in cryptomarket. Thats why we should invest on coin with good product and having working product because its more safe to invest
I don't think there is anything wrong with that, actually a lot of coins appear that will make blockchain technology more developed without the latest innovations, so blockchain will remain as before and without any development, which eventually doesn't interest anymore, but when altcoins emerge, things positive because then the developers will be competing to make a good and safe system for the coins they are developing
I think the reason people create their own is to be able to fund their starting company. Then, they could fully integrate their innovative idea and give the usage for the public with transparency amd security with the help of blockchain technology.

It depends on what goals a person has, to deceive someone, or to create some kind of unique project in order to bring benefit to this world.
