They create their coin to promote their project, get a huge people to buy them, list on exchanges. To them it is an easy way to make money. Most of this coins are copied from each other.
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? 
Well people do that because they need to store them and make worthy of buying. Coins like Paragon, Ripple and Lisk are too good in the market.
I feel like most other businesses or investments, people create their own coins to reap financial rewards as well as fulfill a need they see in the market. Some will do well, others will taper off and die.
There is so much greed in this space. It makes me a little jaded at times. I wish less people would try to print their own money.
It is a nature of things. We compare ourselves with others and want more and better. It will never end as long as money and people exist. Let them make shitcoins and go broke. What's wrong with it? Natural selection is good. 
And why corporations are trying to bring their companies to the stock exchange, conduct IPO, etc., so that their shares grow and more popular the company in the world has earned, and fame, as well as with Crypto-currency startups, its token is an opportunity to show the world their child,which they launched and made with their own hands, and many remembered them, and of course everything is done for profit
I think they just want to copy coins that were previously popular so they can be known by many people. Maybe people who make coins want to compete with bitcoin, because bitcoin is not easily defeated.

People believe that this is one of the best ways to make money, even if the product is not needed by anyone, because the goal is to raise funds for ICO, and there are few teams that really look to the future.
The ideas and approach are always different some will feel they have more expanded market than others or they have better idea compared to the older ones. Coins actually needs to be improved continuously.
The idea of get rich was always on top, creating a new coin is also send sort of one of the way to get rich coz people buy hyped coins without investigating the project's background.
there are many people who succeed in making big profits by making new coins and that is the motivation of many people to do it. but unfortunately they are not serious in handling the project. they just want to get profit from the person who is cheated. therefore if we want to invest in ICO, it's better to be careful and careful.

They made their own coins because they know to them selves that the coin will be popular, famous, and get a big success. Not all ICO's have the behavior of getting popular, most of the ICO's goals is to reach the soft cap and hard cap to have a big success and not to create their own coins. Did you get my point?
People create their own coins only for the purpose of getting rich quick. I think it will benefit the crypto market. The process of self-regulation will regulate all the excesses that will occur in the crypto space.

Because new coin created for some difference project. Like Lympo token for healt and ethereum for investing, so you can invest your money in the specific coin. That's why other people try to creat their own coins. So invest your money right now.
I am sorry, I won't invest money in some toy coins conceived by people without imagination and decency to create something useful for humanity. People are driven by greed, I am not playing into their hands and risking my money.
this is crypto the world of technology and the reason that they want to make their own coins are because they want to make more profits and they try their luck what if it goes good they will be very rich so i guess that this is the reason.
They don't just waste their time creating shitcoin, they are making money by doing it, but it's not easy, they will manage to build a community, that will invest in their coins, and after that they will just abandon their own created coin.
I also think that even making a shitcoin requires some skill and determination, and it is not easy, I agree. But people are driven by greed and this will never end.

Because who guys trying to millionaire. I agree with you nowadays a lot of random people's creating token and make develop scam ico project with fake team management.
Someone just interested in creating your token and someone creates a great project with a great idea and technology ! How many people so much and of views !
