in my opinion, which makes the US is the most powerful country in world one of which is the economic power. The American economy is one of the most important economic systems in the history of the world economy. The American economy is an economic structure built by the American state so well. One proof of the strength of the American economy is the presence of US Dollar which is the largest currency that became the benchmark of exchange rates against other currencies in the world.
The US entered the WW2 late and the war was fought in Europe - where factories were targetted by enemy. While the US was not in WW2 yet they had military industrial complex building weapons and ammo for allied forces. And taking payments in Gold. At end of war US had most all the gold. And thus the Bretten Woods agreement - US Dollar was pegged to Gold at $35 an ounce. But the US printed too much paper money, and re-nigged on the Bretten Woods agreement in 1971. US Fucked the world and then talked Saudi Arabia to only sell oil for US Dollars. When you can issue a whole lot of currency out of thin air for free - it is easy to have large military budget. Take goods from rest of world and give them currency freely created and backed by nothing.

Yes, maybe they were. I dont know how they became one of the powerful countries in the world. Maybe, because they take all the great inventors and scientists from their enemy,(Germany Adolph Hitler) that is why they were the first to developed the first nuclear weapons and the first to walk in the moon. They really had a strong economy, way back 4 decades ago. Many third world countries borrowed money from them to develop their countries..where it came from. I honestly dont know. Maybe they have oil. Or they control the oil in the middle east. But, today. I believe China and Russia are the 2 most powerful countries in the world.

I think the main reason why United States of America is the most powerful country in the modern world is because of their consistency and good strategists. Historically speaking, United States of America rose into power because they took advantage in everything they have been through. And when they get that, they will never let that slide away to their hands. What they do is gain more, use it to have more amd continue again ana again, much stronger but at the same time more fragile. They think more about their country's interests than their personal interest. They know how to maximize their resources and they know to gain more sources.
US is the country's largest resource obtained from the World War 2.since, US attracted many scientists, economists and businesses to day.US standing world leader in parts most important areas: economic, defense, education, science...The culture of the US has a wide influence in the world. And one more thing is that I also want to live there
