USA didn't have huge damage as a result of the second world war comparing with European countries. USA gave them a lot of credits so European countries remained debtors to the United States. Plus USA were selling them weapons and this is a huge amount of money

For my knowledge because United States is most influential country. All the things in the world that we used is came from USA. All the expensive things came from USA, that's why everyone are dreaming to live in United States.
I mean there are a lot of reasons why the US is the most powerful country. Personally I believe the strongest is media. With media I mean the internet and Hollywood. Those two are dominated by the english language and US culture. I think this has huge impact.

I would disagree. The Americans have not engaged in colonialism as much as the Brits or the Spaniards. They became powerful because they didn't participated in the world wars (they participated in the WW2, but only when the Axis powers were losing). As a result, the other super-powers of that time became weak, and the Americans became stronger.

Actually it is not. In terms of firearms yes it could but Economy? If you will check out recent research, China appears to be one powerful country now. Whether it's economy, products and firearms.

The main reason is that Russia's economy is much weaker than the US economy, so US influence is stronger. It is a law that still has not been canceled. And availability of natural resources is not an indicator of economic power. Today we see that the price of oil fell, and the Russian economy got huge problems. Willing to sell the oil, gas and other natural resources are many, and able to efficiently and effectively use these resources to produce the necessary modern products is small, so it is a minority and affects the world.
