Understanding of basic economic processes and phenomena gives a meaningful understanding of what is happening in the world. It is customary to say that if the school does not teach physics, then the world will always seem full of wonders. The same is true for the economy.
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?
The best about economics is its concept which involves the supply and demand in the market and trading is just like a gambling but with lesser risk that you can earn profit if you succeed and that is the beauty of trading in the market.
Your must study Economics at University it will give you a wealth of knowledge about economics as well as basic skills so that you can become an economist or market economist who will take the dream for you
Economics will surely give you quite a good level of knowledge since that is what we revolve around anyway but it is not the criteria for someone to be successful. I know a lot of people who studied economics and they are simply not doing well and I know a lot of people who did not even go to tertiary institutions and they have been able to build their dreams and employ others.The thing about life is that you are going to be successful based on how you want to fashion yourself into whatever it is, and by being smart about it, which most of it, has nothing much to do with economics. Remember, a lot of the wealthy dudes that came up with great ideas today dropped out.

To have better understanding about cryptocurrencies you should study economics. Even to understand the news and politics.
I am not an economist, but I have studied a bit. Especially personal finances which is very useful for anyone who works and earn some money
Smart dudes never stopped learning but your success is not in any way determined by what you ended up studying in the university but how you are able to stay focused and smart, knowing what to do and studying what you need to as experience kicks in.
I think the reason is obvious, you would be ready to fly through economic events, that are taking place in the world and you would know what to do during those.
We must study economics at university because it is the way on how we are going to understand how the economy works and what are the factors that affect the cycle or the overall cycle of economy and because of that subject, we will know the things that we can do in order to make changes to our lives and to become a better version of ourselves in terms of finance.
Economics is a great (though not a crucial) subject to study because it provides the foundation for so many other subjects. It is much easier to understand business, cryptocurrencies, and even seemingly unrelated topics like politics, law and history, if you have an understanding of economics. Plus, it’s interesting without being unnecessarily difficult. They don’t call it the science of common sense for nothing!
All we need is to get knowledge about things related to the economy of a country or a state for which we study the rules and principles of economics and result positively. If we so not have knowledge of market on the basis of economics then we may not be able to run markets and the markets may not survive. If need to get profit from any market I must be learning the basic economical rules. 
It's all about money and how to get it from someone else. It's basically understandibg how to earn your way into the world with the least amount of effort and money spent as possible. Why wouldn't anyone be interested in that. This could actually solve world poverty. I mean somewhere in those econ texts and discussions is the answer.

Economics not only enables you to know about the demand and cost etc. It is a huge and wide field and helps you make the policies that government implements. The scope is so wide that without economic theory, the statisticians cannot provide reliable results in a field related to the market. I was a top scorer in economics subject. My favourite subject was economics and it taught me alot abou GDP, NNP, N.I, Consumption, investment, Accelerator and multiplier concept. Believe or not third world war is the war of economy and book of economics tells us wealth of nation. It is most important to learn and very interesting subject. 
Economics basically teach you about money. How to make them, how we lose them and everything in between. Since money is a commodity that everyone wants, then we want to study how to get them. We actually studied basic economics in high school so early on we know how supply and demand and even basic accounting.

Even more than that you will get if you study economics, I myself very regret why I don't enter in economics at the university, exactly that I choose is the mathematics, which in the business world is only a small role, economics is now desperately needed, you can be an analyst at company, or can become a financial officer in government or bank..
