Knowing the economy of your country you can earn well on investments. If you were a conscientious and well-studied economist, then you will be able to apply your knowledge to other countries of the world.
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?
Why don't you just study economics on your own. Its not that its attractive, people are attractive, economics are simply tools for us. Economics is just a way for us to see the numbers into a picture, to have a better understanding from those numbers to data that are readable.
You really don't need school, practically speaking. It will show you the ropes but will not lead you to the end of the rope. Vague and misleading, if you ask me.

Simple as this, economics attracted me because of the fact that we need money to survive. Economics gives us ideas and key take aways on how to learn business,handle money appropriately and to make realistic investments as well.
Because the university has a master who is proficient in the field, and with a teacher who has a lot of knowledge and accompanied by real evidence its make someone will more easily understand it. University is a place that is perfect for us reap the science in accordance with the field that we are interested in, even after completing the studies we will get a degree.

Economics and history are the two most important subjects you can study to have an understanding of the reason why the world is the way it is. History is about past politics and economics is about current politics. Much understanding of history is an understanding of economic realities of the past. Economics is the single greatest influence on geopolitics and informs why and how countries treat each other. If more people studied economics and history, I think we'd have a much better and more peaceful world.
There are many interesting topics about the economy in university, because it deals with every aspect of life. Topics on the economy fill the headlines from almost every news media. By understanding the economy we at least know what is happening to the world.
Even more than that you will get if you study economics, I myself very regret why I don't enter in economics at the university, exactly that I choose is the mathematics, which in the business world is only a small role, economics is now desperately needed, you can be an analyst at company, or can become a financial officer in government or bank..It does not have to be necessarily at a tertiary level as apparently not everyone can end up studying economics, the good thing however is that the basics are not that hard to understand since they can easily be applied to real life situations as I have mentioned and makes it easy to get that stuck without having to read so much about it.

I don't know why you are so concerned, economics was my favourite subject in high school and University, so I started it with joy. And now I find it very useful in my life even here in cryptocurrency.
The point is that there are different economic movements and they may vary from university to university. Currently, modern economics is divided into mainstream and mainline. Mainstream economics has a more mathematical approach and encourages governmental interventions into the economy, while mainline is pro laissez-faire and agaist interventions. So which would you like to see taught?

In my own point of view, users are interested in economics because it will help them to understand how bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will improve the economy of a country. We must study economics in universities because in the future it will helps us in our business and how to manage our money. 
the current economic level is the benchmark of prosperity, from personal to state. i think all the disciplines of science will lead to the economy
Absolutely everything leads to economy but that does not mean everyone must have to study economics all in the name of trying to do well economically. If that is the case, we may all just end up stuck with only economics with other sector being denied.Economics works with every sector and understanding it basically comes with some experience and some overall knowledge gained gradually in real life situations and that alone is enough for anyone who is intelligent to understand all that is needed to know while leaving the professional aspect of it to those who are deep in it and studied it as a course.
I think it can provide you a good overall overview how the business life works and what are the key factors. It can be helpful for almost all areas since everyone lives from money, and you gotta earn it somehow
If you plan on getting into business then having a basic understanding of finance is a good idea.
My line of work doesnt require a financial background but some of my co-workers appreciae the fact that I have a small understadning of concepts that arent expected from me.

If you like to do business economically you can study economics, but there are many successful entrepreneurs who do not go to universities that they are rich from their own experience as well as their bravery so the need to study economics is not necessary.
Being a very good businessman doesn't mean that you should study economics. There are a lot of successful businessmen that haven't been to school before but they are doing extremely well. Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?
If you want to major in business or thinking about having your own business someday, I think studying about economics is really important since we can learn about how the economy works and what are the aspects that will greatly influence the business it self. The economical situation of a country affects businesses established in a certain country.
The theory in the economy is beyond the discussion in this forum. Whatever we discuss here in this forum is mere application of economy but theories in economy is very much and that will require us to go to university to get specialized in that.

Basic economics is always needed for small or big business startup, some people are genius enough to have good business strategies without properly studying. But the number of successful entrepreneurs without even having basic economics are low. I am not saying that it will be necessary but you should be aware of the basic economics to compete in the market for better results and outputs.
I am not an economics student, but I have read many books on economics since then I have learned a lot of market analysis skills, grasp the psychology of people very well.

We must study about economics because it would be helpful for us and our future endeavors. There are things that would be needing knowledge about it in the future so I would prefer to study about it. Gaining knowledge about it through any helpful tool in the future us an advantage for us to earn better in the future.
I do not think you MUST choose economics. It is very popular though that is correct.
Me, personally chose it because my father is an economist too and liked maths and foreign languages in high school.
Moreover, it gives you a comprehenshive overview which you can translate to a certain field that interests you

As a person we should know the scarce resources that our country lscks and how's our economic growth doing such as inflation rates, unemployment rates and other things because these economic factors affects each individual's life growth or our daily routines.
