ripple is difficult to call cryptocurrency. This is an analogue of crypto-currency with centralized management.

This system can have a great future if it is implemented in the banking sector

For a fundamental investment XRP is not good. It is centralized and the coin is completely manageable by some people - this contradicts the principles of decentralized crypto-currencies. Ripple is a product of banks and the world financial system. But for speculative earnings, it is quite suitable. If you still decide to buy ripple, then it's better to take a little ammount, and only when it's cheap.

Maybe a lot of people don't look to invest in ripples, because they think that ripple doesn't have any potential for the reason of the high supply in the market. In contrary of that, I think that xrp is one of the greatest coins, which it's one of the fastest crypto in the transactions side, it will be compared with credit card for the speed standard, so I think in the future xrp will have a big chance to be more bright in the market and maybe it can be in the 2nd place again in the market.

the XRP token is well suited for long-term investments, less attractive for short trade races on stock exchanges. Compared to most, crypto currency is the least risky, as it is supported by real projects in the global banking sector.

On stock exchanges? And besides of that, Ripple is everything that blockchain doesn't want to be.

Personally i wouldn't invest in Ripple simply because, i think there are better options. For example i would rather invest in BTC or ETH, because thier growth is more stable and higher than the Ripple one. Also ETH has more possibilities and ways you can use it.

I would not invest in ripple for the reason that its centralized. Crypto was introduced to the world by satoshi to take power from the hands of all these centralized organization(banks), and here we have ripply to exactly the opposite. Its disrespectful to satoshi if we buy and use ripple.

Who says people dont invest into the ripple? People does make that move but the case is that they dont do it for the long terms. People always put Tehri money into the ripple for short term and whenever they get the profits then they tend to sell it immediately. As it is volatile currency and being centralised one it doesn't guarantee you very big hikes unless and until they decide to do so. Due to heavy emission of the XRP it is always impossible to achieve high rates and thus no chance of profiting. Better to use it for quick profit and let go.

Ripple is a centralised currency ran pretty much by banks. One of the key features of bitcoin was to avoid this and to make it easy to send money without high fees. However, it seems that it is growing well, and I believe it was also on Ellen’s show which I assume would have affected the price.

Totally agreed!

No, you don't want to listen to your friends. Believe me. XRP is a very valuable currency. Although he is centered, but because it is more valuable. You have to believe in the strength of governments and banks.

Hello there,

I am new at this topics, many of my  friends said that ripple is the worst cryptocurrency,
because don't represent the spirit of a cryptocurrency has to be.

May be someone can bring me more reasonable argument about why i wouldn't invest on ripple or in other hand, invest on it.

please, all the help will be appreciate because i want really learn all about crypto.

Ripple is the Cryptocoin which is supporting the banking system and this is the reason ripple which is against the concept of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and this is the major reason some people fear to invest in Ripple. Supporting the Banking platform also support the government views and if for any reason government brings any kind of rules and regulations in cryptomarket here in my country then Ripple has the high chances of getting selected as major cryptocurrency against the BTC. But ripple has strong and good future for upcoming months.

Ripple has an excellent technology, but I do not understand why banks should buy the coin, it seems to me insane, the bank must go to the exchange, buy Ripple in order to transfer it to another bank, its price is changing every minute.

you know the very reason why some do not like ripple because its centralized. But for me that doesn't matter as long as i can make money in it by investment. Investing on ripple is a good opportunity because it is centralized and youcanbesure that it will last for the long run because of the support from centralized system.

In my opinion Ripple is risky coin to invest in cryptocurrency market, it’s owning 70% and only 30% is funded by the crypto investors. Anytime company can manipulate.

Trust me mate this is not the number one issue and problem that we can have with ripple. A side from them owing a lot of coins the main issue in my mind comes as a result of their blockchain not being decentralized because their blockchain is centralized. Which reflects that we must trust the central authority on their blockchain. Why go for something like this? When you have bitcoin and many others out there where anybody can take part in mining or any other small game they have in order to validate the transactions. I don't know either why people seem to trust ripple much but we see that they do by it's price.

Indeed, Ripple does not decentralize anything and guess what - most banks are using the technology of Ripple.... that's one of the players why we even started with this whole decentralization.

Many people don't invest in ripple because it is a bankers coin
I do invest in ripple because even trading ripple can increase your Bitcoin or ethereum leaving all the hate it has.
