U will never know the true answer, before you try
As long as I have the feeling that Bitcoin will make it I will not sell any coin. I have faith in the technology and especially in the Bitcoin Blockchain to be a protocol for many future use cases we might think about right now. Right now we're going through hard and tough times. But this will change one day and we will go up again. Follow the news and not only the stagnant price we're seing at the moment.

me too
im trust about blockchain technology, p2p payment
in future more bank will use bitcoin technology to transfer money

that why i never sell my bitcoin Except at high price Cheesy

Bitcoin replaces central, not commercial, banks
September 25, 2015, 04:51:22 AM
well... I never sold a single bitcoin. I bought items and electronics with and for bitcoin. If I could pay all bills in Bitcoin (or more stable 2.0 coins) I would do it immediately.

Unless you immediately refund your stack of Bitcoin everytime you do that then this is considered selling your bitcoins..

one thing it's true, if everyone will follow the OP advice, the price can not increase at all, so his statement, based on this, is utterly wrong

the best thing to do if you have a low amount is waiting, leave the big players to play their dirty game

what kind of broken logic is this?

if everyone follows OP advice the price will go through the roof. ever heard of supply & demand?

I will never sell any of my btc. I will just keep buying and one day I will be able to buy everything I need with bitcoin. Hopefully!
if you do not sell bitcoin you have, then it's what your goal playing bitcoin  Cheesy ?
Not as an investment, but as an actual currency which you can use to buy things instead of just selling it for fiat to make a profit.

Bitcoin should be treated like a check book rather than a commodity for speculation purpose.

As with any currency, it will be traded in some form. This is just life and its how a lot of people make their money. Warren Buffet is living proof of this.

Because I believe that that bitcoin will not be stopped here. This is not the first time that the price go down. This is a temporarily situation I think. The bitcoin is spreading every day more and this a clear sign of its success. Its volatility is known it it will be such since the time when it will be well known and it will be mature as a currency. I will not sell my bitcoin. Hoping that the price with go very high one day and I can pay the college of my daughters with those.

I hold my bitcoin for some reason, i trust bitcoin price will be up, also
i sure in future bitcoin can use to pay everything

I'm not very sure whether in future you can buy everything using bitcoins but surely you can buy some online services and some items as well.

And instead of waiting for bitcoin prices to go up very high to sell, you can start taking some profits whenever you get an opportunity and again you can by when prices fall.

Reading the responses to the recent topic titled, "I would sell all my bitcoins if…." has left me concerned.

The kinds of responses on that thread reveal a deep misunderstanding of bitcoin and the current monetary system in many of those who are speculating. Let's consider the scenario in which bitcoin reaches $1000 or let's say $10,000 per bitcoin. Many have said they will cash out if bitcoin reaches this point. Why??

If bitcoin reaches $10,000 it will have to be because the fiat currencies of the world are tumbling to worthlessness via a hyperinflation type scenario and bitcoin is the safe haven, which if you know anything about the current monetary systems of the world, you know this is inevitable. (there have been 3800 fiat currencies throughout history and EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE has crashed to worthlessness; a value of zero) Why would you then sell all of your sound money (Bitcoin) for a bunch of fiat money that is inevitably becoming worthless? I don't understand the logic in doing that.

If bitcoin ever reaches $10,000 per bitcoin, you will NEVER see me selling for fiat paper money. You may however see me having a shopping spree at Overstock.com or TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com! I will be buying things I want with my bitcoin profits DIRECTLY WITH BITCOIN, not selling my bitcoin for paper fiat. Hopefully by then there will be many more options, perhaps even Amazon.com will be accepting bitcoin for goods and I can have my shopping spree there.

Point being, selling bitcoin for dollars seems counterproductive. Why convert your paper fiat currency into sound value storing superior bitcoin, only to sell all of your superior bitcoin back for worthless antiquated fiat currency again? Why not just spend the bitcoin itself to buy what you want instead of taking a loss by converting back into dollars which will inflate away eventually anyway?

I believe it is a good investment and hoping for the best in the future that the value of it will rise up more than we could ever imagine.

I think the rate of bitcoin is up and down, then it will not matter if we sell our bitcoin when the price is high, then we can buy it again when the price lower.
If i the price high, i think i will sell my bitcoin

Yes just sell when you think you have made some good profit and again you will get an opportunity to buy again. For that you need a patience.

What you said is obsolutely correct because if you just buy and wait for price to reach 500 and 1000+ then one may need to wait for how many years do not know so one should watch out their investments after investing and sell it off when ever they reach some good profits. This way one can make a good money in bitcoins

I real point of this thread we may not be in need of selling our bitcoins when the price of bitcoins hit the moon. I liked. This kind of situation definitely will happen in our life time itself. Because when people chasing down to buy the bitcoin, why you alone going to sell, instead use it for daily needs.

for most people bitcoin is still an investment. they don't or barely spend their coins. if we all spend our coins on thing then merchants are likely to adopt bitcoin.

Because maybe sometime, the Bitcoin price will gone high to $100000 and then i will buy for much money Smiley

I think you may be dreaming for that to happen but what if prices go back to less than your purchase price? So you should always watch out on your investments.

Nothing imposible, but i never choose to hold it forever, you can save small amount to price $100000

If you post something which isn't realistic then you should back with some data to prove otherwise it's is called dreaming. What you predicted is quite impossible to get there.
even if we consider the price of your dreams but there is no point in cashing or exchanging at a point where fiat's are worth shit .
just think if 1 bitcoin is worth $100000  what is the value of dollar?lolll
