Don't jump to the conclusion, it's too early to speculate, remember we're in a just early quarter of the year and bitcoin still in a good stand, but I can't blame you to feel shaking at this moment, it's your own emotion and intuition.But for me, I still believed that bitcoin will surpass an all-time high record.

Maybe we won't see a replica of 2017 again but definitely, we will see gains bigger than 2017 in years to come. 2017 was just a beginning for the cryptocurrencies and the majority of the world came to know that it exists last year. Today more and more use cases of cryptocurrencies are coming up and that's a positive sign. Just HODL, don't loose hope future is bright.

Your first sentence reveals the level of pessimism that you have. And you probably don't know the properties that make Bitcoin better than any other cryptocurrency out there.

You mention the insane gains that these alts could have brought to you as a reason to be pessimistic about Bitcoin. But the truth is that it shows how undervalued Bitcoin is, since it followed the same level of growth of altcoins that doesn't have any legit use case.

Don't be a close minded person pal and think always positive because if you will not its like you saying its pointless to join crypto currencies investment anymore then better for you to quit because it will be a waste of time for you to be here. Lot of good opportunities that are happening now in favor of crypto currencies but we must keep the patience for the result to effect because when it comes for sure many will regret it because of not keeping the faith.

There a saying goes "history repeat itself" so if we say 2017 is a remarkable happen of bitcoin so it is very possible happen again and probably much more than we are expected this year 2018 and for another years to come. So bitcoiners don't lose hope just hold on and keep up the good work bitcoin community.

Unfortunately for us I don't see any possibilities to see again those gains/increases of value. Many coins already have quite a high value, to increase so much we would need a huge amount of fresh money, and at the moment this is a very remote possibility.

These gains will be seen again, however, they may not be seen in the same fashion. Once crypto begins to become mainstream the market will find a healthy balance between speculation and regulation. When this happens we will see massive gains in the projects that deserve them but in a healthier fashion.

2017 is surely a remarkable year because most of the coins elevated too quick and too high. But let us not lose hope, we are not year in the middle of the year. There are still nine months left for 2018 to impress us. 2017 became remarkable because the latter half part of the year happened. It was when all the coins went hyper. It could still happen, maybe at the second half of the year again. Let us HODL and wait!

I sure hope that we will see 2017 gains this year. So far this year hasn't been impressive but I still think it's a good buying period. Buy early in the year to sell later in the year. This has happen a few years in a row.

'Ever', I don't know but definately not anytime soon because people who invested now with profits as well as loss are eagerly waiting for a massive bullrun. If that happens then people will dump heavily which will stop the market from growing exponentially. People will also lose trust if the massive dump like this happens again.

Yes I think 2017 gains will happen again. Maybe this year will be even bigger than 2017 for altcoins. In 2017 it was mostly Bitcoin that gained a lot and some other coins also gained a lot.

This year it is possible that other altcoins gain a lot.

I think so yes. I do think this is a bubble but I don't think the pop has arrived yet. I think it will be in a couple of years. I base that on the size of the Dotcom bubble when that popped and crypto is a fraction the size of that market at the moment.

2018 just started and we are still on its first quarter and so it is still early to give any conclusions. A lot of things can happen over the next few months and there is still a chance for us to have the same gains or even more as last year. The digital cryptocurrency is gaining popularity amongst the general public each day which can somehow increase its demand and soon its value and so i am keeping my hopes up and holding on to my coins.
