I'm not sure if this happen in your country or not, but in my country most companies don't want to make their employees become permanent workers anymore, they only want contract workers because the companies don't have to give compensation to fired contract workers.
If this trend keep continue, what the world would be? many people will become unemployed and not all people can become engineers. Middle class people will become poor as they don't get decent jobs, will we see a big revolution that the poor to clash against the rich?
I think the impact of AI technology on jobs could be significant both good and bad. In terms of benefits AI technology will reduce costs and increase individual empowerment and new types of jobs will be created on the other hand, if you look at its disadvantages because of AI technology the jobs of many people can be lost, so people have to upgrade themselves and their skills.  It is a fact that one needs people to operate the technology and those who scale themselves now and improve their skills will succeed in the future.

Even in the absence of artificial intelligence, employers preferred contract employees over permanent employees. They do not want to have problems with both compensation and dismissal. Since employers generally act this way, job seekers have difficulty finding a permanent job. This situation begins to become more difficult after artificial intelligence spreads to a wider area.

Self-improvement always provides an advantage for a person, but this may not be the case for some professional groups. It seems that such problems will arise more and more as time goes on, but human labor must always be used and people must work at a job to make ends meet.

Yes, it's good or bad, it depends. As a business, AI will bring many benefits because it will help us reduce costs as well as increase productivity, quality...thereby bringing better revenue to our business. But for workers and employees, it is a threat because they can be replaced by AI.

The introduction of AI into our daily lives, in my opinion, needs to be feared only from the point of view of the possibility of AI abusing its capabilities to cause harm to humans. That is, AI should not be allowed to manage military technologies and make independent decisions on global issues related to the survival and development of humanity.

Humans are the ones who provide data and energy for AI to operate, and if we stop providing those things, they cannot function. So I think this won't happen in our real world, it only happens in fantasy movies. Our real-world AI is much more pragmatic than the AI created by American science fiction movies.

In solving specific practical issues, AI can greatly make our lives easier, and in particular, it will greatly accelerate the development of science and technology. On the one hand, AI can indeed replace humans in some types of activities, but at the same time, thanks to the successful solution of many issues with their help, new jobs and new professions will be created. People's living and working conditions will quickly change towards comfort and improvement. I think that there will be enough work for people even with the active implementation of AI.

I agree, AI can take away some of our outdated jobs, but it will also promote the creation of many new jobs because it is a result of technological development, of the world, not a cause of the world becoming obsolete.

I don't deny that many people are worried about the development of AI because it is threatening their jobs. But we can see that the development of technology also creates more jobs and ways to make money, such as many young people today can make money through YouTube, tiktok, facebook...And clearly, these are positive effects of technological development, and we should not deny them.

That looks like automation and advances in robotics more then anything else.   AI in its purest take is software and iterative referencing self correcting learning processes, mostly its going to improve human interface and responses such as search results of online help bots etc.

The biggest people under threat from AI are probably help center staff who might do a very repetitive task of supplying information or standard responses to customers searching answers to queries.  I have heard of automated fast food outlets because of the pressures to both pay a good wage to employees but also the low requirement for costs in cheap fast food.   The conflict in costs will require greater efficiency and it might well come from excluding having so many people in the processes.

Do you really lament people having to sit by a pan of boiling oil all day straining off chips, humans are made for better things then this in their jobs even.  I find it to be a good thing and you should not doubt that people will find more useful work when this job becomes unneeded manual labor just like the old Victorian farm work was replaced by machinery.

I am one of those who thinks that AI is gonna take away jobs and the economy is gonna take a bad turn if this goes on like this. The world is getting more advanced everyday and AI is is brilliant, a good way to make so much easier, a boss getting rid of secretaries while Secretaries getting lazy by using AI to  generate her boss letters, business proposals and much more, it is not only affecting the world the workforce but it is also making people lazy, students are starting to write their projects on AI, i know you will say there is a way to know if a student wrote their project with an AI or not but don't forget AI is advancing and for every program created to detect this another program will be created to counter that, but in the end everyone is relying on AI to see what and what not, AI replies emails, AI drives, AI cleans, AI works in the restaurant, AI delivers food, it is only gonna get worse, people are losing their jobs and the more this goes on there is trouble for the future. My 2 cents, i have more to write but i stop here for now.
There is no doubt that AI is advancing day by day and many things that used to take time to do before or would have taken a human to do, AI can do in minutes or seconds but despite all this, I would say that a human has created an AI, but AI has not yet created a human, so AI cannot compete with humans. AI doesn't have emotions, AI can't do everything, so no matter what happens, humans will still be needed.

All the facilities that people have built-in AI are made for their convenience, not because the need of humans will end and it will never happen. Invented as it has been allowed before, it is now AI and in the future, something will be developed even more advanced, so AI cannot be compared to humans.
Yes, we can say that ever since AI has been created many tasks have become easier. And the reason for its popularity is that it solves a lot of problems in seconds but remember that all these things are fed by a human, the AI has not done anything with its own mind.
When it comes to progress and advancement then this is something which is inevitable. Instead for people on focusing too much into its cons or disadvantage. Why people cant really just that focus into its usage and benefits? For us not to be able to have those kind of doubts. Yes, it could affect manpower or when it comes to jobs available for humans but when it comes to productivity and efficiency then it would be more lot faster
and better but just like with other words above by people that there are really those jobs on which it cant really be replaced with some AI and still human intervention would really be that still significant.

I think that at first, rich countries will be able to buy AI robots and make them work. These rich countries will give pensions to people who don't work because we can't kill them, they need money and food to survive. The business will make lots of profit and save employees but this is a very long-term plan because these AI robots will be very expensive and far from being affordable. It will take years to perfect them and integrate them into workspaces. When that happens, humans will be able to live without working.

AI will be slowly integrated into poor and developing countries. I assume that their governments will think about giving pensions to their citizens but pensions in poor countries will be much lower than in rich nations. That's how our lives will change with AI.

One thing that everyone needs to accept is that our world is developing very quickly and we need to adapt promptly if we don't want to be eliminated. Complaining or worrying will not slow down the world's development, so always seek to improve yourself, improve your knowledge and expertise. The development of technology will be a push to bring us to a more modern world, but it will also be a harsh elimination if someone does not adapt in time.

Most companies accept workers who are not permanent employees and they prefer an annual contract system because there may be many things that can be done. I also don't know whether this reason is used so that when they are fired they don't need to be given compensation, but the dismissal should have occurred because of fraud committed by the worker, not entirely determined by the company without looking at any mistakes. Layoffs as you mentioned are much more rational because companies are experiencing financial problems and automatically they have to reduce workers.

Usually if a company operates in the field of product sales, when sales continue to decline, they have to take this step because they are unable to provide salaries. In this case, they see that it is more profitable to recruit contract workers compared to permanent jobs because when the company goes bankrupt they have to pay compensation.

This isn't surprising with the advancement of AI, this is also good since it would reduce the financial constraints of keeping most unproductive employees around. I quess AI is only doing 70% of the work, leaving the 30% for specialists in the various department, you too can upgrade yourself to be part of the 30% who are not replaceable by AI

If you cannot become an engineer, then become a marketing consultant, Business Analyst, or Seasoned Chef. The roles are non-stop and AI can never replace those who have grounded specialized knowledge in their fields, AI has only come to replace average workers, but experts are still in high demand to help manage and oversee the activities of these robots. This is not a time to complain about the emergence of AI because they are here to stay and keep advancing by the day, rather its time we all step-up to the challenge and develop very much specialized knowledge in our fields and moreover learn to work with AI and further increase our productivity and perceived value.

Its not happening now in my country, but it is very much expected in the nearest future, this revolution is spreading speedily like wild fire, it would reach everywhere like wild fire and for those it has not reached their country, its time to start preparing for the Ai wave so it doesn't meet you unprepared. Contract worker is just a mere formality to put you on probation, if you're good you'll be given a longer contract that almost feels like permanent job or even made a permanent staff because The company wouldn't want to let you go.

It does not happen that way all the time sir, companies look out for productivity and if the contract workers are more productive, they would retain them and reduce the numbers of their permanent staffs, or rather reduce their pays, forcing those who cannot cope to leave on their own.

Actually I don't think if that will happen because there are some certain things that we human being can do that AI can not do, though it can reduce some job opportunities but talking about making people to be unemployed I don't think if that will be possible. you know most of this artificial stuff doesn't last for long, you know dey make use of engine probably the engine can develop fault at anytime at this point they will still need to look for workers to replace the position when working on it. Not even all companies that can even accept that AI, you can't compared work that is been done by man and that of AI, there's always a different.

Yeah, AI takes away certain jobs. That's true. But AI could also add more jobs than it took. This has been the same story over and over again. Technological advancements are often interpreted as a competitor to humans in terms of jobs. Machines like tractors, printers, mixers, and so on and so forth have indeed been replacing jobs. But their invention and widespread use have actually made jobs easier, effective, and more convenient that it has developed massive industries, thereby creating more and more jobs.

I have read Musk's thoughts about this AI taking over the world and taking over people's job. He said that once we're taken out of our current jobs and are replaced by these AIs, there should be a universal income source where we'll be getting our money to make ourselves survive with the current economy. It's scary to think of that time will come and how soon it will happen. But we as plebs, we need to do something for us to be secured with our sources of income. Maybe become a real life businessmen and aside from being a crypto investor, you'll take care of a business that's mostly dear to you.

Because if you have something in your posessions and you manage to grow that business, you can let your kids inherit it and continue it. Sounds easy but it takes time and once you become successful in making it as a stable business, that's going to be more than your job and you'll not worry about the AIs taking over the world and the job that we're doing. So, the easiest jobs will be taken out and replaced by AIs and machines but those complex and harder tasks won't be assigned to them and it is still us, humans that will get the job done.

In as much as the use of AI is advancing day by day, there are still some certain things and activities that will really requires the supervision of humans. The use of AI cannot take over all part of the world no matter how rapid it might grow. Also, there are still some undeveloped countries which are still advancing in technologies today. So no need for panic over the use of AI.

The fact is AI can not deprive anyone of their jobs. However, someone who makes use of AI can be partially be ahead of you in certain aspects. AI can not completely work on their own without the help of human to give commands, this alone means that human service is still highly needed in a company that chooses to use AI instead of human thou the capacity will reduce. People assume that AI will just takeover human jobs without considering the other aspects of it which involves costs and high costs of maintenance.

And yeah, some parts of some countries can never experience development despite its advancement. Mini companies located in areas like this can not make use of AI and succeed. Even at the peak of using AI, only few out of many companies can afford it.
Exactly. Regardless how advanced AI is, still it cannot take over completely the different jobs of the people. Although they may excel in some types of jobs most particularly when it comes to computer technology, but still majority of all the aspects cannot just leave it all behind to AI, otherwise the world industry will collapse. People should always be the one leading the AI, not the other way around.

Contract workers also receive compensation but in a different form, not all companies tho but, the oil sector do pay a huge amount to an employee before he/her leave although some companies are not willing to pay due to their financial capacity. I don’t think this is the major reason companies no longer employ permanent workers, the government sector is a perfect example and I’m sure not every company will get involve with the use of an AI besides this is a digital era so I will urge everyone to partake in the new development.

In this case, AI is actually not wrong at all, so before AI becomes common, we must first adopt AI, in fact many content creators currently use AI to create interesting content independently.  don't fight AI, use it to develop yourself to be more valuable and make money from it, don't be lazy because currently AI is very easy to learn.
Regarding whether human jobs will be taken over by AI in the future, that is certain and we cannot stop natural selection, those who are lazy at a young age will only end up poor in old age.

Probably, if people won't be giving our their best in their jobs. But we all know eradicating all these workers and completely replaced by AI won't be happening in just a blink of an eye, it may take a lot of years of observation and studies before it's going to happen. And I know it's still best having real humans than AI robots working on jobs in order to achieve its best outcome. AI will only serve as an alternative when real people are no longer capable on working on it.
Yes that's right. Actually, we don't need to worry too much, of course the implementation of AI technology takes time and not all countries can accept this technology. However, what is clear is that all work cannot be done by AI, you still have to use human services, only certain work can be done by AI. However, we cannot reject the development of AI technology, we have to work hard to be more creative so as not to be inferior to AI technology.

This is like the postman of the past being replaced or superseded by the telephone, where technology helps a previously slow process become fast and effective. So that humans change following the technological era, business also changes following technological developments. This AI will be like that too, but no matter how great an AI is, it can't plow fields, raise cows and raise chickens. Well, that's a job that tends to be irreplaceable for people who are lazy and don't want to keep up with technological developments.

We should not totally embrace this new system, imagine what can be done by humans to earn a living would then be carried out by a machine which will increase the number of unemployed people and this will have a huge effect in that society because people will now be left with no choice than to seek extra measures to earn a living, it could be either appropriate or inappropriate.
