ERC20 tokens follow Ethereum and there is a strong correlation between them. When the market is bullish they could
incrase even faster than ETH but they also dumps faster when ETH price crashes.

I don't think all will follow Ethereum but most will, if one look at projects like DigixDao, DaiMaker and Augur all these projects have potential to surpass Ethereum in marketcap. The issue with Ethereum is that majority of the ERC20 tokens are shitcoins and have no real use case and will likely all lose their value in future and won't growth with the growth on Ethereum platform

Well we all know the most of coin in  crypto market is relying in ethereum  because its altcoin so maybe theres possibility that  when ethereum goes down some coin will be followed.

the price of new tokens depends on the progress of the projects standing behind these coins but not on the price of ethereum.

precisely, no matter what platform the coin is used for, actually the price also affects the pair they use, if BTC / ETH, of course it will be very influential when the primary coin goes down, but if it only has a pair with USDT of course it will very stable. How potential project can no longer guarantee prices to going up.

That's the only aspect I noticed about those altcoins, only few of them makes it up when etherum is down you will find most of the keep going down following the trend. For a project which promises much more than etherum did need to adjust itself and grow on it own.

No, it's not true. I should remind you there was a lot of ERC20 asset that still defend its price caused by they have been creating a fully working product. that's the key to protect the investor's trust. I should remind you that it will have a correlation with the bitcoin price too. you can try to see the ethereum based icos which have created product.

Unfortunately, not all projects could develop to the level of which you speak, even having a finished product. A large part of them just squandered their potential, and all the money. Look at the volume of medium exchanges of similar projects.

No, I don't think so. I have good tokens whose price does not fall due to the fall of Ethereum price, for example XYO and ONL. But of course most tokens will be cheaper if Ethereum will fall in price.

I think yes. Mostly all ERC-20 tokens follow Ethereum movements. But it doesn't matter if Ethereum lost 15%, for example ZIL will lose the same. THe falling can be smaller in times, like 4-5%.
ERC-20 tokens have positive correlation with price of BTC and ETH. Whenever ETH goes upside or downside other tokens also follow it and marketcap is illusion considering the facts.

I have been keeping eyes on ethereum so far this week and I realize a strange dip in the value of ethereum. Well I don't think this will lead to the collapse of ethereum completely, however, I do think it will go down way more due to panic sales and most ICO's selling their tokens. Guys do you think all ECR20 tokens will follow ethereum in terms of further dip in prices?

This is not entirely true, but almost all altcoin currently develops the ecr20 platform. The Ethereum platform offers excellent work when you can easily use available resources to create your tokens without spending too much. Do you want to spend a large sum of money and time to develop a platform of your own?

ERC-20 tokens are completely independent of the Ethereum price. If the token is good enoguh it will rise, if it is another sh*tcoin then it will go down to zero.
But we can see that price of the cryptocurrencies rise when Bitcoin rise because Bitcoin indicates the trend.

There are too much sh*tcoins on ERC-2 Ethereum platform. I don't think that they deserve follow it's price. But other coins will follow it, I am sure about it.

I think all the tokens based on ETH might follow the route of ETH. No exceptions as far as I see.

A lot of ERC-20 tokens depend on Ethereum and I think when the next hardfork is going to happen, all the tokens that are based on Ethereums blockchain will follow the price increase. Moreover, the major blockchain update is also coming soon!
An interesting assumption ... Why do you think that after Ethereum hard forks, the price of tokens on the ERC-20 platform will increase? Personally, I think that the price of the majority of coins on the market and ETH itself depends on the price and position of Bitcoin, but it can be assumed that Constantinopol will still contribute to the growth of the price of ETH.

The correlation between the coins is high in crypto as is it a small market and all the alts are following the market leaders. So, ERC-20 tokens will follow BTC and ETH movements. Some of them will drop even deeper.

that is certain as long as the currency pair itself is ethereum but if the project attracts a lot of people's interest in investing even though ethereum experiences a price shock I think the situation can reverse

I think that the fall in the price of ethereum as well as the fall in prices of all the other altcoins on the market is complete - the one who managed to buy the ethereum at $ 80 - you can say this is a person - is very lucky. The rest people remains to wish - you should buy Ethereum right now.

Of course, the prices of all EPC-20 tokens will follow the price of ethereum, because they are tied to it, which means that the lower the cost of Ethereum the lower the cost of all the others. Whatever good project ethereum is, this binding complicates pricing in the crypto market.
