Truth is, most of the altcoins we see today don't have any real use case and as such once they get listed on any exchange, the value is bound to keep depreciating. I will be bold enough to say that, more than half of the altcoins we see today have little chance of survival in the near future. The bear market is a phase and it will surely pass but, only the strong coins with real products or real use case will be left standing once this challenging phase has passed. The value of the good coins will surely rise but it is hard to say if most of the coins we see today will survive.

I have some of these coins, but here hope that they still will grow in price gradually disappears. And in general I think that the market will be restored not soon.
In an ideal market That ia not influenced by manipulations and extreme volatilities, when a good project token goes down it will most likely come back up. And In a case where there is something wrong with the platform like failure to deliver the promised product or missing out on an important deadline, then the token value may keep going down. Aside from this points the price will always go according to the total market.

The future really and greatly depends on the developers and the members team on how they could improve their project and how they can implement based on their roadmaps, constant promoting to the community will help the community informed, this means that the community will adapt to the project, and it will make the market better. My only. Means of making profit through altcoins this time around is through trading. Hodl just seems like all hope is lost in it but I still know that this is not the end, if it doesn’t go up this year it will do next year or maybe before this year ends. I think a lot of them won't but some of the better ones will. Trash like Ripple, Tron, Verge definitely won't in my opinion.

I don't think all of them will recover their value, some good one maybe like tron, cardano, and district0x may recover their value as long as they keep delivering their promises and make a lot of progress for their project, but for others coin that got pumped during December it's quite impossible to recover as the value at that time is too high for a project with whitepaper only.
