Altcoin will recover their price, and we can see it's starting to rise now although there are many of them that still on the lower price, it will increase more than now. We don't have to afraid for this, and we need to believe that the altcoin will do the same thing as bitcoin which can increase higher, and if the times come, the market will start to recover.
What's the general feeling about some of the altcoins that have dropped in value considerably such as TRON, district0x, Cardano and SiberianChervonets.
I've been HODLing these for a while hoping they will recover but their value seems to be getting even lower. With new coins being launched daily, is it likely that these will ever recover?

Honestly if they are recover in future its take a lot time. Since January 2018 we can see almost every coin lost there value 70%/80%. its huge loos. and at this moment we can't see altcoin or bitcoin will pump in this year. but who knows about miracle. every trader waiting for that...

Most of the altcoins are permanently dead, others are in agony.

Those coins will remain on the market-whose teams are constantly working to improve and improve it. The product is important and no matter how much it costs now.
I think a few coins will moon but it's going to be because of pump-and-dump type deals. Or maybe some kind of news that makes something rise up, but I don't think most of the coins we see today will exist in a few years.

It is equally difficult to believe they can climb back at the same rate or higher rate that the price was lost. A project worth $5000 now less than $200, no one can sell that and very hard to comprehend the dump. Little concern are the similar projects coming up and doing well in market. I don’t think the price of the altcoin will recover even if the bull market arrives.Because they have a lot of bubbles.they will return value.But the price of Bitcoin may be able to recover.

I think you need to see your strategy and faith again, in this situation everything is " possible ". People only see bitcoin as primary income and asset and another is just alternative, even they have good history it doesn't mean people will replace their trust into it. Recovery/ up again is " hope " but with careful we need to see with technical method. Use any technical indicator for long term period and see the result, if you can see any recovery sign just cut loss but if you're people who like challenge stay is the right answer. Up to you.
With the current situation, I think it is very difficult for altcoin to recover at its peak in January. The market may recover somewhat and need more time.
As the current situation for Altcoins are very low and lot of scam are identified from ico forum hence it is bit difficult for altcoins to recover but we can wait for few months and hope the best to happen..
Market is down at this moment therefore Altcoins needs to be researched before investing. Truly new coins are launched every one or another day, it does not mean that old Altcoins doesn’t retain its value. When market will recover, potential coins will rise. Investment in Altcoins is a long term investment, so have patience, soon bull will run & market will go green, holding is best at this situation.

Altcoins will definitely recover their value. For example you saw what did Ripple in last 3 days. It rise over 100%. Yea it will dump a little but in perspective will rise +100% 200% ....
I think all alt coins never recover their original rate because now many alt coin are dip too much and they have also not much potential.

I think when the market goes on to the next phase, there will be huge growth, but only those coins that will be demand in the future will return own value, but another shitcoins will not be restored. Yes, certainly! Probably, like many you went on the overheated market, but do not worry, friend, hold your coins - market growth is inevitable! Those who claim the opposite want to lower the price as low as possible and purchase. The next growth of the market will be much stronger than before.
Definitely it will and now is the best time to get in to some good coin and trade with caution with little gain for a while and the bear market to be out and soon we shall be in bull market.
