Of course, it will survive, but not all cryptocurrencies will be able to withstand a long distance, I think that hundreds of coins will disappear, they have become too much. And a lot of projects copy each other. It is necessary to highlight the most significant and promising in the long term.

In fact, there is some good cryptocurrency better than Bitcoin. The existence doesn't lie with the price of a coin would rather it depends on the usefulness of a coin. Bitcoin is the main host for Altcoins and with a bunch of people exchanging it everyday it would make Bitcoin better than every crypto built after it.

I heard this question back in 2012, and even then there were doubts about the survival of altcoins. It's been so long, but the questions don't change. I'm sure the altcoins will survive. Very soon bitcoin will be overthrown, and its first place will be a strong altcoin.

Definitely altcoins also will survive strongly hold valuble coins till survive. This is a good times invest using capital money to cryptocurrency. End of year of 2020 all cryptocurrency market prices will be up.

actually lots of coins are added in many exchange. so every alts are not good.so no chance to survive every alts many are fall but real project can survive for sure such as waves or eth.

Actually now market condition is very bad so all altcoins price is going down. No matter, when BTC price will go better position i think all altcoins price will also go its bright position. Just keep patience and believe in mind that market condition will go its previous position.
I think that the market is divided. There are people who will buy altcoins. The altcoin market will always be in demand. Such coins are more affordable and anyone can afford them. And also everyone can get super-profit if the coins are from a successful project.

The survival of the altcoins is attached to the survival of the entire crypto advertise and the survival of this market is straightforwardly reliant on the survival of Bitcoin. Altcoins will survive not all but many of them will live,becose lot of money is invested in good projects,the market is fall to red zone but this is not the end for altcoins,just buy for less now and hodl to this year end and u see u get rewarded.
altcoin can survive if bitcoin rises slowly but if bitcoin happens pump and dump the price of altcoin cannot survive the price of altcoin will drop because many investors move their money to bitcoin

Altcoins were in business and will remain in business no matter what happens with bitcoin. Bitcoin is standing on its own. So as many other alternative crypto currencies are standing on there own. Once there was time where market movements in the bitcoin would affect the altcoin market significantly. However recently many of these coins have garner larger investor base. Coins like ethereum, dash, monero, litecoin etc etc are today looking strong on their own. Price of these coins is less affected by bitcoin movement.In short altcoins will remain in business. Strongest and brightest of them will thrive in future. Look at wave as recent example.

The Altcoins will survive regardless of the current market situation. The market is bearish now so there's no need to be panic at all. The time will come for the Altcoins to thrive again.
The majority of the populace of the world will start using altcoins in the method of payment in the near future. (Cryptocurrency is being already used in the method of payments in some countries). So as a result, I am seeing the future of altcoins very much bright. We can see that countries are accepting it by bringing regulations in place. After all, regulations will make cryptocurrency more strong and stable.
