Most of other altcoins that are after 1000 spot on the market will surely not survive. The top 100 altcoins have a very high chance to be seen in the future so only less will survive.

Yeah I'm quite sure that altcoins will really survive and grow in the crypto world today because altcoins had already been in the crypto world now for quite a time just like ethereum which is the second most trusted which also has the second highest market value in the crypto world today. So its much better to invest in altcoins right now while their market values are still low so we can be able to buy as many as we can and gain bigger profits as soon as their market values start rising again.

Altcoins with no real use case will not survive in the long run. Major market corrections like we've seen between January and now has made some alts slide to their par/ico value, some have even gone below their ico price. Projects will use case will always weather the storm
