Until Bitcoin is alive altcoins will survive for sure. Each country and each institution is launching their coins as ICO and want to be a part of the crypto market to make their transactions in digital way. You can see in bounty section that each day at least 5 to 6 ICO's are launched, we cannot assume all the ICO's as potential but somewhat good to see more ICO's coming in which is a positive sign for altcoins.
I think altcoins will survive because there are so many people interested in this market, I still hope that all of us are so that it will now continue to grow and return to its original state. When the profits we wish to achieve will be high.
With the recent pump more and more people arriving on the market, so yes they will survive, not mentionning news talking abou it everyday; i think it will grow.
It's about the trust of people still keep on BTC or move to other altcoins.

altcoin wil survive as long as its demand remains. if its demand become zero then there will be no altcoin.but I think it is not possible to lose its demand.because people are becoming more interested in altcoin.they are making profit.making profit increase demand, so in my opinion altcoins future is bright.
Altcoins would be find because honestly they better than bitcoin but not that expencive because people don't care about benefits of altcoins. Only price matter nowadays.
I was thinking that I was impossible for alts to go down more... But last few weeks showed the opposite. My concern is that everyone (new trader) entered the market when BTC was around 18-19k. And after the fall to 13k a big panic occurred which forced those people to sell everything and leave the market.
I don't think that those people will enter the market soon. This will cause alts to stay at there levels. Which is so scary for me and for all the bag holders. The market cap has to go up for alts to gain power back again. But first BTC has to go up to 15-16k to gain trust again...
I hope these will happen in 2-3 months.

He will not only survive, but also survive many more (if you understand what I'm talking about). Do not need to worry much, there is no way back from the altcoin! Only forward.

what's happening is actually normal. You could refer to the convetional currencies as an example for you to understand that this is normal and not an indication of survival of these alt coins except if the drop is really drastic. ALTCOINS will survive.
There is a big and awful dump on the cryptocurrency world lately and I think altcoins will definitely survive. Bit by bit the cyrptocurrency value is now recovering from dump and that's a good news for all of us. They say that after Chinese New Year all the value of cryptocurrency or coins will return to its old state. I'm still hoping and all of us are to that it will now continue to grow and go back to its original state when the profit we desired for will be reached by then.
Undoubtedly, alternative coins will live until they are in demand, and the demand for them will be for many reasons. For example, alternative coins will live because they bring a lot of new to crypto currencies, and it's also an excellent tool for earning money. But this is just my opinion.
I don't see most of them going to survive for long. Of course, as long as they are very useful in and have a demand. But most of them, in my opinion, is badly made just for profit!

of course altcoin will still be able to survive as the growing knowledge about bitcoin blockchain is certain altcoin will survive, not only that with altcoin we can grow the currency assets of our digital currency.
Yes altcoin will be survive as long as bitcoin will live i think he can survive. It will reach 2030 same with bitcoin.. especially ethereum and litecoin there big potential in the future
btc dominance reducing on regular basis ,
few years back its dominance was 90% ,
in 2017 october , its dominance was more than 60%
and now its dominance remained only 36% .
in crypto it is never possible that only btc will survive , in that case no benefit of crypto technology .

With the time when the market will be stabilized we’ll see how only some currencies will survive. It will be I suppose a row of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple. These currencies will survive.
Altcoins will survive at any price of Bitcoin! The majority of altcoins are constructed on Ethereum technology and every day them will be becomes more and more.

Well said, I think the important ones will survive and the smaller obscure ones will die out. That's for the better anyway.

Its survival depends on its growth graph. If its shows continuous growth rate then surely it will survive prolong. More profits will attract more buyers.
