I believe altcoins will survive as long as people invest in them and believe in them. Some altcoins may be forgotten if not given enough attention or investment while some may be increase in price with time and enough support. Also altcoins may increase in value due to high demand.

Definitely! Do not worry, some of the altcoins have stronger position than Bitcoin has. I am sure in future the majority of people dealing with crypto will prefer to use Litecoin and DASH. Ethereum is also very strong as well as NEO.

There is more altcoins was profitable and nice to make an investment to make you get more profit if you can not afford in bitcoin, even the bitcoin will go higher in value probably the altcoins also will survive.

Altcoins will live on for a long time. It the crap coin that will cease and that a good thing. This market needs a clean up. There are too many scam coins and ico out there. Bitconnect for example. Many people loss there savings in that scam. We don't need no more of that.

Even though bitcoin increase the demand everyday so, the price of bitcoin will rise and rise in everyday, the altcoin will stand forever as altcoin its because altcoin is rean source of bitcoin its because if earn more eth and you can converted it to bitcoin you also earn bitcoin in that way so, altcoin will stand strong forever even bitcoin is very expensive.

I don't think that all altcoins will survive this. And I hope this happens. There are literally useless altcoins, better off without them. Infrastructure altcoins and altcoins with actual use of the Blockchain - this is what we need.

Cryptocurrency is the future it's like buying a new phone with diffrent products. How can you make sure if the phone is very useful if you don't try it or just like vice versa. people are engaging now on technologies. We people are very curious on how they will use it but for others they just love investing at cryptos without reading whitepaper and roadmap, i'm trying to say here that Cryptos will survive because alot of users wants to hold coins and sell it in the next few years to gain. Altcoins will be in demand in the future.

yes and will growing so high this year with new ICOs tokens as well, could be the year of icos due to incremental interest in them

on my opinion and on the other face of the medal, there is a lot of new scam icos that would be only a waste of time follow them, you need to focus which one is fair in this wide blockchain field

assure only those few things and you will be fine this year if your held btc or other cryptos

Yes, altcoins will survive this year. We know that bitcoin is unique but altcoins are very unique because of its diferent platforms. The reason why altcoins are created is good to read. Bitcoin today is not stable but altcoins are stable flying up to the moon, to alpba centauri!!

Of course, btc is stable and going survive now because the value of btc is going high and the demand is a good enough so that altcoins is going survive too. When btc is still number 1 coin it represents that the crypto world is alive and still had many investors.

Not all altcoins are expected to survive, but surely there is many altcoins having good potential, and the experts predict a very shining future for them. Ethereum and Ripple and Litecoin for example, are considered as powerful coins with good volume of trading and high demand nowadays.

Some altcoins will, others will not. Cryptocurrencies might not all become succesful. Finally its depending on use-cases and adoption, I'm sure utility tokens have the most chance for survival on the long run.

Only the altcoins will survive. The problem bitcoin set out to solve still exists because of bitcoin's own limitations. Bitcoin slow transaction speed, block scaling issues, high transaction fees is stopping itself. And any improvements to that is very difficult to implement because of decentralized structure. Altcoins will be the one to solve these problems effectively and efficiently because of innovations they come up with. So altcoins are the future. Question is will bitcoin survive?
