i think bitcoin is on very perfect position and i am sure no one can be replace it because bitcoin is on very good and top position in place of crypto currency and bitcoin is very much powerful and useful currency and i see that bitcoin is acceptable in everywhere than other currency.

ofcource it can but on the current market prices it doesnt seems any cryptocurrency even near of it but still probabilty is always more than half that this incident can hit us anytime.the future is in our hands and we should take wise but clever desecion

I think untill 2050, Bitcoin will not be replaced by any other crypto currency.Reputation of Bitcoin is very good compared to any other crypto coin.Eve if any other altcoin replaces Bitcoin, Bitcoin will still be existing in the market.
Replaced by an altcoin? You mean by just a copy? That is way too impossible to happen. Those altcoin makes us profit but dont let that blind us for them to take charge of the crypto world. As long as there are people controlling those alts then it is hard to trust it in the long run.

quit unrealistic question. because without bitcoin we can't think of altcoin. Obviously without any pinch of doubt i could say that bitcoin is mother of all cryptocurrency and it's the role model for all other coins. although there is a coin may be more that have price higher then bitcoin but market capitalization is maximum in bitcoin.

The concept of bitcoin being replaced by another crypto currency looks completely senseless for now, as we can clearly see that the markets of alt coins are running just because of bitcoin, why? Because people trade other coins in order to earn more bitcoins or in order to grow their bitcoins, no one likes to hold any other crypto currency for long run except bitcoin, and that clears the superiority of bitcoin i guess.

A few of those innovations and applications might break out as a form of the new type of cryptocurrency.

We can see a lot of shitcoins over there, like 99% however we can see good projects like ethereum and dash, if any altcoin will take the bitcoin place, just the time will say it, by now we can't predict the future.

No way. The history of Bitcoin is long, and today nothing can stop. There's a lot of money involved and many important people and governments using it. It's the most brilliant revolution in the market of these days. Together with Blockchain, Bitcoin is amazing and almost like the internet or the creation of cellphones, this currency/system is here to stay forever.
Yeah. It is nearly impossible to an Altcoin to suppress what bitcoin has already established. The fact that it has been developed since 3 years ago I think. It is hard to suppress what bitcoin has already achieved. Its demand nowadays are very high that even big companies are accepting that even if it is only few. I think if one coin can suppress bitcoin. It will take some time before that happens.

the government actually can ban usage of all kinds of cryptocurrency what they can't do is preventing people from using then. besides banning then is never going to happen and even if it happens it can not be the reason for replacement.
the only scenario which bitcoin can be replaces is that some new coin with the same features and security but without some of the downsides is invented and since it has not yet happened and it is not easy to come up with it, replacement can not happen anytime soon.
a government can ban just bitcoin or some altcoin or it can ban all cryptos altogether. why would they want to do this? maybe they want to implement their own gov coin. but as you said it would be not possible to stop the use of bitcoin. you could only punish it afterwards and hope that people will stop using it because of the punishments.
a more interesting point is, that only some government would do this, but surly not all. i would like to see how all government agree on anything.
and i also do not expect to see some better altcoin with the ability to replace bitcoin soon, but it would most likely come as a surprise and so it could be tomorrow.

may be in future but in my opinion it is vety hard to say that any new online digital currency may overcome the bitcoin but still there are many problems because who will invest much amount of money in new coin or online currency .and how does people will trust at such type of new currency .
If there is no further progress with the block size increase to accommodate more onchain transactioin, it will be abandoned.
to me as bitcoin is one of the most popular currency of the world, and still people are entering in the world of bitcoin therefore it is becoming more and more strong that its previous position, therefore it is not possible that bitcoin can be replace by any other cryptocurrency.
