Yes its now just impossible to replace bitcoin by any other cryptocurrency as bitcoin is well knowned and more trusted by millions of users now ! some cryptocurrency like litecoin can just compete as they are just copy of bitcoin but to replace its just too difficult seeing today's society !

Any thing could happen in this world..this can be happen but right now i dont think this to happen in some years..bitcoin is way ahead than any other cryptocurrency...litecoin and ethereum are the 2nd and 3rd which are way behind bitcoin no competition...
maybe bitcoin will be replaced by the other coin but it is not because the time of bitcoin has been antiquated . maybe the reason would be is killed by the people who developed bitcoin and also if the bitcoin mining will stop .

bitcoin will one day be replaced and i'm pretty sure of that. why are the devs creating more and more innovative coins is because they are trying to find a better technology than bitcoin. btc is just lucky that it grow because there was nothing else back then.
well, that is not true at all!
at least it is not true about 99% of the altcoins. because they are all being created to be pump and dumped as all of their history shows this. and all those so called innovations are only pretty things to make that alt shinny and attractive to make the pump bigger.

there are good altcoins with interesting features, like monero for example but this doesn't mean bitcoin is going to become obsolete as Moneroman88 is trying so hard to say here. all the current altcoins will always remain second to bitcoin and can never even come close to the usability of bitcoin.

This is possible since everything in the market is possible. It may not happen or it will happen who knows. But the probability is there and we cannot stop its potential downfall. If bitcoin is replaced by other cryptocurrency then we must always be ready to use other altcoins as well just to be ready for the worst case scenario to happen to bitcoin. So in short just play safe and invest in diverse currency.

Some months ago people said ETH would be the new bitcoin, it may grow and reach bigger value but it has a long jorney ahead to try to reach bitcoin. I don't see any crypo able to take down bitcoin soo soon besides huge potencial and market capitalization all crypto are exchanged against bitcoin.
as technology keeps moving forward bitcoin has to evolve or die. I think it will evolve, mainly because currently there is no other alternative meaning btc has the time to adjust. Only time will tell if it does?
