I think the problem of that not so many people know about bitcoin is that there is no enough education in bitcoin and Blockchain area. Many people is still accept bitcoin as new pyramid. But I think in 2022 the situation is going to be better.

May be youre talking from a country where the literacy level is high and that could not be a real challenge. Its just a little awareness that will be required but I tell you for other developing countries, even those who are said to be literate, will take a lot of effort for them to understand what is going on not to talk of the majority of the population that cannot even operate a simple phone to its maximum to now start explaining to them bitcoin wallet, sending, security etc...

I partially disagree with you. Of course people are living in villages they have neither technical knowledge nor a computer to connect to internet. Unlike that most of them have smartphones right? That means they can connect not only with WiFi but with 3G/4G from local mobile telecommunication company. Even though it seems unbelievable for me that everyone will use bitcoins after 5 years I am pretty sure that is not so difficult to use a mobile bitcoin wallet if you are smart enough to keep some security precautions

I think if we focus on the development of some rural areas and focus on their involvement in the digital technology and teach them about the digital business then they will like to have digital means of business and they will be introduces to bitcoin. We can just go at the top of the mountain and live there peacefully.

All we can do is wait and watch. The craze for bitcoin has always been increasing and so are prices. Maybe not everyone buy most of the people will learn and transact bitcoin in the next decade.

Not just tech-savvy people but less technical people as well will be using it. The shops and stores are accepting bitcoin and so people are bound to use it gradually.

we can not say, everyone will be using bitcoin at the time, because it is still very much a country that does not have enough technology to access the bitcoin. but, we all hope, that everyone has been using bitcoin at the time.

There are not a lot of ways for bitcoin to reach 5 digits without a great number of persons adopting bitcoin, the only other scenario that I can picture is if there was a great problem with fiat inflation in the future.

Whether there is an inflation in the future or none if the value of bitcoin is going to be great then that can attract a lot of people. But it really needs some advertisement but we are the ones who need to do that. I'm being realistic on what is possible to happen for the next years to come, assuming that the percentage of users will be more by that year of 2022.

6 years dati now it is a short time for bitcoin be accepted and used by most people in the year 2022, my analysis was not because everyone is different depending response to bitcoin, therefore we must campaign for bitcoin let more and more users

Yes we do need to spread usage of bitcoin but what is better thing we need to do is keep on using it. 2022 is really not enough to make all the people use bitcoin. But attracting a lot of people to use it by that time from now is going to be enough to let them know that bitcoin is a real thing, when it comes to currency and investments.

Yeah i agree. Bitcoin already presented us with all its benefits and uses and it would be up to us users to let more people kniw about those features to attract more people. Though i think aiming for 5 digits in btc price is a bit challenging. 5years may be a long time but we'll never kniw whats going to happen then. For me it's safer to say we may be hitting around 5-8k in 2012

It is one of the toughest thing that can ever happen to bitcoin, to reach 5 digits. Because reaching $1,000 mark didn't go for so long and I can say it is hard for bitcoin to reach 4 digit and how about the 5 digits landing mark it will surely harder. But we don't have to worry about that, as long as we are helping to the demand of bitcoin. And you had a typographical error, it's 2022 mate.

nope too difficult even I would say it was impossible bitcoin user will have all people in the next 5 years. in fact I doubt it will happen despite the 10 years to come though. I think this is not just about the time, but the hater is not possible to use bitcoin

It's not impossible dude because bitcoin becoming popular now and maybe 5years from now it will be used by almost everyone "almost" not totally everyone.

The problem is that currently the percentage of people using Bitcoin is still low compared to the global population. I think that number is less than 2% at the moment. Reaching a number above 10%, five years from now, will be very difficult. It's not impossible, of course... we should not underestimate the network effect of Bitcoin, but there are many barriers to be broken for that to happen.

But the technology and the supporters of bitcoin are also very much faster and from the previous year you can see that how much the adoption rate is increased. That 5 years are much enough to bring bitcoin to every marketplace.

No, I respect your opinion mate but I believe it will not happen. The adoption rate you are talking is impressive but not good enough to make people adopt with bitcoin. For you to easily understand, just analyze the figure of users and not just the value of bitcoins, or even try to make your own survey, I am pretty sure out of 10 persons you will ask, you are lucky enough to have one who knows about bitcoin.

I really doubt that people in villages who don't have a computer or people in reservations or Amis will use bitcoin is 3 years. It's silly to think that bitcoin is going be used by everyone in 5 years. By the around calculation bitcoin will be used by 1 mlrd of people in general.

very honestly it is really difficult that in 2022 all the people of the world will start using bitcoin. to me i think it will hardly 3% of people may be start using bitcoin, because it is a fact that in most of the backward area people may even not be able to use computer and get the facility of internet.

The fact that in my own we can not predict the future but even here in my country asking some of your friends or other business where we are depositing money to convert into bitcoin they did not know it. if the adoption is still the same just like now we can not seen many people can use bitcoin that actually you can ask some friend that they already know about bitcoin.. so in 2022 i think it is impossible that we can seen outside in your house that knows about bitcoin.. unless more adoption more news impression in tv commercial i think we will more increase people who are using it..

Even if they do have bitcoins because they work online or whatever, they would still have to convert it to fiat first so they can use it. This is the same case even for first world country people. The bitcoin community is much smaller than you think it is and the number of people using it doesn't increase that much too.

To start establishments and an economy you need a currency, bitcoin can be a viable currency for the countries that don't have stable governments, since bitcoin doesn't depend on governments, of course, until we get a solid LN working, we can't even fathom the idea of a nation using bitcoin without LN since we can't deal with the amount of traffic capacity that would be needed for that.
