I agree to that. More and more people are liking the advantages bitcoin has over traditional fiat currency and are accepting it on their business. Moreover many poor countries have been using it and less of fiat. However it does need more acceptance and spreading.

Once the acceptance grows the prices are bound to increase and then traders can happily trade of large volumes as well.

it's ain't safe to say if you see the past statistics. the price always fluctuating and goes down after the highest point just reached. people have intention to sell their bitcoin at its highest point therefore a rapid price increasing can't continously keeping up until the "true" highest point. it will lost its moment when people think it's enough to reach that high price.

There are not a lot of ways for bitcoin to reach 5 digits without a great number of persons adopting bitcoin, the only other scenario that I can picture is if there was a great problem with fiat inflation in the future.

Whether there is an inflation in the future or none if the value of bitcoin is going to be great then that can attract a lot of people. But it really needs some advertisement but we are the ones who need to do that. I'm being realistic on what is possible to happen for the next years to come, assuming that the percentage of users will be more by that year of 2022.

It's not impossible dude because bitcoin becoming popular now and maybe 5years from now it will be used by almost everyone "almost" not totally everyone.

But almost is a very vague term it could mean lots of things, but even if you said that almost in this scenario meant half the world population it is still a great amount of people and while we may reach that adoption in the long term future to reach that adoption in 5 years seems unrealistic.

It's just not realistic to think that we will reach 5% of the world population by that time. 5% of a population of +7 billion is 350 million people. I think that's a bit too much to ask for at this point. Mainly because I don't even think we'll get to the 1% mark in these 5 years. I hope I am wrong of course, but that's just me being realistic.
